Drusiilas Park is an ideal place to take the kids for an interesting and interactive day out with a wide variety of small animals to see. The setting is very well laid out and access to the Monkeys is great and nearby is the play park which tiers the kids out for peaceful few moments for the adults, a great time had by all but a tad expensive

Ok so it is very pricey, why adults are charged the same as a two year old I will never know, it does seem very money grabbing and without justification. However , once you are in it really is a very nice day ( depending on it not being too busy) you can easily spend a good 4, 5 or even 6 hours there and your kids will love it. It is nice to see the animals so very obviously well looked after, with such a high level of care and attention given. The enclosures are visually good too, and with a good amount of fun info about the animal for the kids to read. The park in General is well laid out and in the summer the lagoon is the highlight. It is a shame they let themselves down with the entrance fees, quite greedy! And best avoided when you can foresee it being manic as it does dampen the experience slightly.

I went to Drusillas today because it was near by to where i live in Eastbourne and easily accessible. Me and my 18 year old son enjoyed the day especially the monkeys, the play park and the Thomas the Tank engine ride. However his favourite part was the Hello Kitty Garden but unfortunately he was not allowed on it because it was apparently unsafe for a 6 foot 5 18 year old to go on. It was also unfortunate that he wasnt allowed in the amazon adventure because ge was too old. Overall we enjoyed ourselves very much.

We loved Drusillas, had heard about it for years and this was our first time to visit - great day for everyone. The layout and selection of animals and birds was great and the play areas were a big hit to help work off some excess energy.

We took our 21 month daughter whole had such a great time. Loads of interesting things to help children learn about animals.
The zoo is well thought out which helps to ensure you don't miss anything. Would recommend the place if you are in the area

I run a charity that supports families with severly disabled children and we were invited to a very special evening just for families with disabled children and their siblings.

Drusillas laid on free entry, activities, gifts, food and entertainment for everyone that attended.

What an amazing and very special event it was and we cannot thank the owners of the park and all the staff that made it possible. My charities facebook page was swarmed with great messages about what an amazing time everyone had there that evening.

It gave all these lovely families time to have fun and to meet each other and offer mutual support to each other but in an environment where they didn't feel diffferent!!

I was there all evening and it was lovely to see so many smiles and happiness.

Can't thank you enough Drusillas!!!

Great day family day out for those with younger children. Food was reasonable but lost one star for having only a couple of picnic areas and signs all over the place telling u where u can't eat ur picnic!

Just been here today, my 15 month old and 4 year old loved it. For family of 3 it was £50 at the gate which was a little bit pricey and I could have saved had I booked in advance. Only annoying thing was we went on a school day to avoid queues etc and there were massive school groups which made the first bit of the zoo very difficult to get through, very loud and very annoying. Other then that we had a great day, lots of different animals to see, a few rides for the smaller ones and a massive park for the kids to play in. Would definitely recommend .

It wasn't as expensive as some (although the Tesco's vouchers helped!), and neither were the refreshments as highly priced as other higher profile venues we have visited in the past. But the clincher for us was the friendliness of the staff. Without exception, all seemed genuinely concerned that every visitor was having a good day, and actually seemed to be enjoying themselves as well - a direct contrast to other attractions. One in particular deserves special mention. The child we brought took to him, and their attention might have been annoying, but he took it well, and really made the youngster's day. (He also appeared to be on every attraction, by the way.)

If there was any criticism it would be that a few more seats in the adventure playground and "non zoo" area would have been welcomed, but that in no way spoiled our time, and we will certainly be back.

This was a truly magical experience for my son who loved every minute of the day. It was a real treat and a day he will always remember. The keeper Helena who looked after him was brilliant and made Joshua feel most welcome and important! Thank you Drusillas.

We took our daughter to drusillas park for her 7th birthday treat .
Our girl had a fab time and enjoyed every minute of her trip .
She loves bed the little hello kitty secret garden ,even if as parents we were a little disappointed in it ,her joy makes up for that
The Thomas the tank ride is sweet and short and the fat controller was really good in his role.the park was clean and tidy if a little shabby in some areas but this took nothing away from the fun had .the prices are very reasonable for food and drink and we saw lots of picnics being had.the animals in the zoo look well cared for and seem to have enough to do in there habitats .we will return

On the whole a well kept zoo of a very well presented assortment of interesting animals.
The kids also enjoy the fantastic adventure park plus great indoor softplay area.
Not to mention thomas the tank engine offering free rides throughout the day all day, and today we was blessed with the appearance of The Fat Controller! He's great and plays the role superbly.
Also they have a hello kitty attraction park there which is also great.
Kids love it there, if you live local its well worth paying out for the annual pass, you dont have to go many times to be quids in !

This is not just a zoo, it has some amazing play areas, small rides for children, paddling pool and a train all on the entrance price.

Restaurants were good and very reasonable prices. Staff were amazing and so attentive.

The whole place was clean and looked like new! One of the best places I have been to!

I organised a group booking here and all the staff were exceptional and passionate about the park. It was really well organised and hassle free.

This our second visit to drucillas Park this time with our now 5 year old. We had such a fun day. The fun play area are fab for the older child I would say 4 up. Blessed with a sunny day we took a picnic as from our previous visit the food not being great and expensive this was a better option for us. We found a Starbucks on site which Was a welcome treat on arrival. The animals were all lovely well cared for and clean. I'm glad we exchanged our clubland points as otherwise this would've been a little overpriced. But lovely day out enjoyed by us all.

This park is amazing! My little granddaughter who is 2 was in paradise. So much to do, so much to see. We could have saved £6 by getting tickets online the night before, but we wanted to make sure the weather was going to be good. The cost for the three of us was £49 at the gate, this was excellent value for money. Lots of rides, soft play area, paddling pool, adventure playground, Thomas the Tank Engine and Hello Kitty Secret Garden. Large picnic area, however the cost of food around the park was really reasonable. A Kelly's ice cream cone was only £1.85. The animals are lovely, really clean pens and all looked happy and relaxed. The whole place is spotless and the staff are so helpful and attentive. We stayed around four hours and only left as little one was totally out for the count. The walk through enclosures for the lemurs was brilliant. A great day out for all the family.

We were seven adults and one child visiting Drusillas on Saturday but amazingly all had a good time. The animals are charming (although some enclosures are smaller than they ought to be), the staff friendly and knowledgeable and every effort made to give information about animals, habitat, food etc. to young children in a fun and age appropriate way. They could easily charge more for additional attractions like Hello Kitty world but this is included in the price (admittedly not cheap to start with but animals need a lot of looking after) and we were lucky that there were no queues on Saturday morning. We only stayed about three hours but could see that it would be possible to spend a whole day there without repeating experiences. Highly recommended for families with young children.

We visited here for one day and had a voucher so our child went free, it cost £35 for us two adults which wasn't too bad, but would have been over £50 for three of us, definatley worth looking for a voucher or book in advance,
The whole experience was excellent and fun, bright, interesting, so much to do, the farm, and the zoo was brilliant, big windows to see the animals, no overcrowding, easy to follow the path round the zoo and not miss anything!
Fun and interesting facts for the kids to touch and feel. We loved feeding the Lorikeets birds they were amazing, you actually went into their enclosure and paid £1.00 for a pot of nectar and they came and landed on you and drank from the cup, just lovely:D
The outdoor play area was amazing, probably the biggest I have ever seen, too big for our child as he is only 2, but there was smaller frames and areas for him, plus the amazing indoor soft play area, again fantastic! Also I loved the outdoor pool, wish the weather had been better we would have got in.
Hello kitty world was lovely, and Thomas the Tank engine was a sweet train ride.
The food facilities were great and very well priced, next time I will bring a picnic as the picnic area is fantastic.
All the staff were lovely, friendly and pleasant
Recommended this place to everyone it really was such a great day out.

Had a brilliant day with my grandaughter at Drusillas. The whole park is kept spotlessly clean, the staff on the rides were all very friendly to the children and genuinely seemed to enjoy their work! We didnt have to queue for any of the rides and it was perfect for 5 to 10 year olds. The animals in the zoo all looked as if they were very well looked after too! Would definitely recommend.

We recently visited whilst on a weekend family break, with three under 5's and we weren't disappointed. We were there for well over 5 hours during which time the kids (& adults) were fully entertained. It had the right mix of education and fun. It certainly was great value for money.

We took our two grandchildren, aged 7 and 4, to Drusillas yesterday, a long drive but absolutely worth it. It was a terrific experience! The zoo is organised cleverly so that you are easily guided through the enclosures to see every animal - and my goodness, what wonderful creatures we saw! Most beautiful and unusual monkeys, flamingos, ibis, wise and stunning owls, lemurs, llamas, the divinely elegant serval, meerkats and the rare binturong that was a creature none of us had ever heard of, let alone seen, before. The children's playground was the best if its kind with some challenging climbs and our grandchildren loved the pole climbing structure where you had to get to the top to ring the bell. The children had a wonderful (and on the side, educational,) day out and we thoroughly enjoyed it too. We (oldies that we are) would have liked rather more details on the basic taxonomy of the animals.

I was brought a zoo keeper for the day experience for my birthday (something every 39 year old should get).
On our arrival at drussillas we were greated by the extremely helpful reception staff and advised where to go and what my itinerary would be for the day.
During the whole day all the staff where very friendly and very informative of the animals that we were tending too.
It was truely a great experience and something that has only enhanced my love for animals and a great zoo

What a fantastic Park, plenty to see and do, lots of small animals and the play area for the kids is wonderful. Food at the Cafe was brilliant, a fantastic day had by us all and would definitely recommend going there, shame its quite expensive especially if you have a lot of children.

I cannot recommend the above experience enough. I took my 12 year old son to be a Zoo Keeper for the Day in November 2014 & he had the most wonderful experience as did I, so I therefore took my daughter for her 7th birthday in May 2015. The entire day from start to finish is brilliant, its a full day of not only holding & stroking some of the animals but also learning about them & their environments, organising feeds & even cleaning them out to give the children a real experience of being a Zoo Keeper for the Day. The staff cannot be more welcoming, helpful & informative, they make the whole day a really fulfilling & fun experience & I cannot say enough good things about them & the wonderful zoo itself 😃
