An absolutely fabulous day out with the grandchildren. Father Christmas was the highlight with Winter Wonderland and the magical lights.
The kids lived all the small animals and the park was the best experience ever. So much to see and do.
We will be back.

So much to do and keep the kids occupied but...
Only a fast food restaurant
I asked for a tap water for my baby and the guy said we can't give out tap water (it was the hottest day of the year and my baby was 7 months old and had drunk all of her water) he tried to sell mineral water and I explained that babies can't have mineral water and he finally gave in!
There is almost a one way system round the park, if you don't go to the toilet at the beginning then you have a long walk to the next one. Also, seeing as it's aimed at kid's there are gonna be pushchairs so why have a narrow walkway passed the gift shop? The queues were ridiculous as it was the only access to the other side of the park?! Ridiculous!
However, now I know the park I would return as it is a lovely day out and I will take a pack lunch!

What a fantastic day my grandchildren and I had today, Father Christmas was absolutely wonderful!

A lovely day out for all the family helped by the fact that all the rides and attractions are included in the price. Thank you drucillas!

Had tarantula and snake experience in one day a few hours apart. Animal keepers were very patient with this mature, tearful scarycat. Came away feeling like I had climbed Everest. The keepers were informative, understanding and of my anxiety. I wish I had done this years ago and would recommend this to anyone. Good restaurant offering hot choices not too overpriced and parks version of McDonald's if you prefer fast food. Plenty of animals and although we didn't have children with us we very much enjoyed the zoo in between close encounters

My family and I absolutely love this park. It has interactive fun for kids and big kids too! It has a wide range of amazing and interesting animals, There are rides, a Thomas train, gifts shops and you can get close up to the meerkats and leemurs (but mustn't touch them). They have restaurants and refreshment outlets and the very large play areas are guaranteed to wear your children out!! It's excellent value for money and provides all day entertainment. You can even book a close encounter experience. I did for my son's birthday..he met and fed the penguins. It was a brilliant day! The staff were friendly and informative and helped us to have the best day ever!! Thank You Drusillas!

Lovely zoo with interesting, well cared for animals and combined with a range of rides and an adventure play ground for physical play. Will suit very young children but also older ones. There are special themed days so, for example, The Gruffalo was making an appearance in the autumn half term. Very very popular in school holidays so best to book in advance on line and to arrive early to make the most of the day.

I've visited Drusilla's quite a number of times over the past 8 years and can highly recommend it. It's excellent value for money and advance tickets can be bought on-line for a discount. There are lots of great interactive displays for the younger children to get involved with, and lots of play-park facilities for the kids to burn off some energy, which is broken up into a younger player area and an older children's area (plenty of climbing for your little monkeys!). There's also a new splash park so don't forget swimming costumes for the little 'uns. Theres a great 'Hello Kitty's section and no extra charge for rides. There are a couple of restaurants supplying either fast food (burgers, hot dogs etc), or a restaurant which supplies fresh sandwiches, salads, hot food such as jacket potatoes etc, and Starbucks for the grown-ups. But you can also take a picnic in the summer.
And finally, not forgetting the main attractions, the animals! There's a great selection of monkeys, reptiles, penguins, farm animals, meerkats, to name a few, and some great 'walk-through' enclosures, such as the lemurs, lorikeets, bats, where you can get really close to the animals.
Having visited numerous times I can honestly say I've never got bored, as it's such a delightful place to visit for the day.

Great family day out. Generally aimed at younger children but it's reasonably priced in comparison to other such venues and you can genuinely spend pretty much a full day there.

I've been going to Drusillas as long as I can remember from being a kid right through to being the parent and now being the early grandparent! It's improved over the years and whilst it still feels the same that's because it has a winning formula. It's fun but educational for the kids and adults alike. Nice coffee house and some indoor areas for the small ones

We first visited Drusillas when my son was 2, and now 7 years later, both children still find it a great day out. The information on the animals is fun but informative, and there are lots of interactive activities that the children love and can get involved with. The restaurant and snack bars are clean and bright, and offer a variety of hot and cold meals and snacks. You can spend a few hours visiting the animals alone, as there are quite a variety to see. They look well looked after and everything looks well maintained. And then the day is rounded off by the fantastic play area - which is great for all ages. Even if the weather isn't great - the indoor play area will keep the kids entertained. We visited on a hot sunny day and the water park area was a great refresher for the kids. For older children the rock climb and penguin plunge is a hit, and searching for gold - and for little ones there is a great train ride around the zoo, as well as the Hello Kitty area. Definitely recommend for a fun-filled full day out.

For children under 10 thus place us truly amazing, so many interactive things for them to do. Then there are all the animals and play park areas. We have been several times with our grandsons, who both have a yearly ticket which us excellent value for money. Rain or shine, endless hours if fun & entertainment, especially at this time of year running up to Christmas.

A charming place to visit with the grandchildren!

Drusillas is quaint well thought out and avoids the tackiness of similar venues.

It is a good mix of an interesting showcase if animals and cute activities for smaller kids.

The animal enclosures are reassuringly natural and there is good information about each species.

After 3 hours strolling around we visited the restaurant. A lovely thatched roof venue with a good food offering at reasonable prices.

Top class!
