A good day out

We took our 5 and 9yr old and had a super day out, the park is clean, the zoo was lovely and the kids really enjoyed seeing the animals and following the stamp trail and Zoolympics challenges. The toilet facilities were very good and there are many of them around the park, and we loved the selection of healthy kids juices and lollies. The play areas are fantastic and great that some areas are free to play, like the arcade. A brilliant day out all round, thank you Drusillas 😊

A great day out for my son’s birthday, although the weather was bad! This did not spoil our fun with plenty of sheltered places to hide from the rain.

Staff were friendly.

Lots of animals to see.

Lot of activities for the kids.

Big outdoor playground and rides ( all included in the ticket price )

Food is reasonably priced but cans of fizzy drink at £2.30 I thought was a bit much!

The park is very clean with lots to do and i would recommend a visit.

We always have a great day out at Druissilars. My grandchildren absolutely love coming here. So much to do and see. Lots of animals for the children to see. They can touch and learn about the animals that live here. Lots of rides which keeps them occupied. There's a cafe where you can get a good selection of various food and snacks. Can be expensive eating here so be warned. Definitely recommend anyone who would take the kids out for the day.

This is our absolute favourite zoo, there is so much to see and do. We had a lovely time there today; the otters, lory landing area and squirrel monkeys were particular favourites. The play park has so much in it too, it’s all well worth the money.

Absolutely brilliant family attraction - a rare one that will fill your day but still have much to return for.

I visited with another family during the Easter holidays and despite it being a bit crowded just after the entrance, as to be expected, but elsewhere the park felt very relaxed and quiet, particularly after 2pm.

The rides are extremely child friendly, and though there are some optional additional extras, the rides and attractions that are included make the price very reasonable, and worth considering membership for if you live closer than we currently do.

We ate lunch in the restaurant, and the cafeteria style set up makes for an extremely speedy service experience.

Everywhere was clean and pleasant to be, which again is rare for such a large attraction.

Recommend waiting to view the zoo exhibitions until the afternoon, once everyone has arrived as it will be much quieter, but don't go too late as the park may be open until 6, but certain areas close before then. Also book in advance to save money and to save time at the entrance!

Drucillas is an amazing day out, especially for those with additional needs. The staff are so understanding and the place is just the right size for a whole day of fun without being too overwhelming.

Lovely place I used to come here all the time when I was a child and lived in the are now I live in Folkestone but love coming to Drusilla's with my children when we visit grandad .
It was about £37/£39 for over 2 years olds but there's plenty to do to keep the whole family entertained. I would recommend bringing food/ picnic as food and refreshments are quite expensive in my opinion here.
My 10year old got injured when she was playing in the roller play equipment ( hamster wheel) she fell and hit her face and nose the first aiders were great and she was soon patched up and lots of useful advice given to us. This has definitely not put us off coming again as it's a wonderful place for people of all ages and plenty to keep everyone entertained.

A lovely day and experience over all, lots of fun things, beautiful animals and things to do for all ages in my opinion. Only downside I can see is the prices in the café for food and drinks. 100% recommend. And would go again.

We're not local so visited as part of a trip away. Great layout and some lovely animal enclosures, but if you are not visiting with kids or want to go on the rides it's quite expensive even if you book in advance. No large species apart from camels, but a lot of the animals were active, especially the coatis!

We absolutely loved our day trip to Drusillas.
We went for my daughter’s birthday and we took one of her friends they loved everything.
The reason for not giving you 5 stars is because the zoos enclosures were beautiful and looked like they were kept to a high standard, animals seemed really happy. However the farm animals I found really upsetting, the enclosures were poor no effort made for them at all and the feeling we got, was that they was forgotten and are just left there to die! The animals didn’t seem happy in this part at all. Which is such a shame. Think this lets the zoo down massively considering how much effort has gone into the zoo! (Not sure it’s even needed). It has really been playing on my mind and that’s why I have left a review.

Brilliant for all the family, semi local train station for those that do not drive.. get a train to Berwick and then you have a 15-20 minute walk along one road to the park.

Friendly helpful staff throughout the park and very clean throughout.

If your a carer you can get free entry to the park if you attend when you take the person you care for.

Highly recommended

A great day out. Bring a picnic as food is expensive. Plenty to do for all ages. And a change of clothes and a towel for the water park.
Book a day before for 20% discount.

Lovely zoo and theme rides. We had an amazing time there. Kids loved it, and everything was included in the price ticket. Food is a bit pricey, though. All in all a lovely day out!

Absolutely amazing. The kids loved it... I loved it. Don't bother with Legoland or London Zoo... go here instead. Well worth the money.

Kids love this place, something for everyone. Zoo’s extensive, decent and clean, rides are pretty standard but again kids love them. Queue time usually pretty short.
