As per other reviews, children and adults alike love this place. Well kept with healthy animals.Lots to do at a good price,
As per other reviews, where are the staff? The staff we saw looked exhausted and it was obvious they were over worked in the hot weather. We tried to talk to one keeper who said he would be more than willing to help with our questions but he had to move on to clear out and feed another animals pen and would get back to us.
Looks like this place loves it's animals not so much it's staff.

Felt mixed about going as I don't really agree with caged animal s an zoos. Positive s were - well run, lots to do, clearly signed areas. Negatives- very expensive, some animals looked clearly depressed, food bought ( burgers, chips) poor quality and very expensive.
Although my 5 year old enjoyed the day - oblivious to my thoughts- I wouldn't go back

Only 4 stars due to the cost. Having said that you can easily spend a whole day here exploring Drusillas. Outdoor play areas are fantastic. Splash zone is amazing but gets VERY busy when sunny! Indoor and outdoor animals to see. Hello kitty rides suit my 2yr old,5yr old & 8yr old, which we've never qued for long at all! Safari train suitable for all ages (& wheelchair access.) Couple of more 'grown up' rides. Couple of shops selling merchandise. For food, choice of burgers, chicken nuggets, chips etc... or the cafe on the way to the exit which we much prefer that sells jacket potatoes, (with help yourself salad cart,) children's lunch boxes, fish & chips etc... or you can just take your own picnic to eat in designated areas.

We had a lovely day but it is disgusting that a lot of the amenities do not open until 11 o'clock especially in the school holidays. It is an expensive day out and we expect everything to be open.

This was our first visit to Drusillas and I was pleasantly surprised. I purchased tickets the night before online to get my advance saving and showed my email on phone on arrival to get in, an easy and painless process. It was fairly busy, Bank holiday Sunday, so after the initial few enclosures we headed for the rides thinking they would be busier later in the day. The kids loved every minute. It was a hot day so we headed to the splash area next and then the playground. We finished by seeing the animals, a really nice zoo. I love that the zoo is interactive and there was loads for the kids to see, touch and do. We had a brilliant fun family day out.

We love Drusilla's but sadly its a once a year treat as its very expensive to get in,we had a great time especially the new rides which are included in the entrance price, but there is the penguin slide and wall climbing which are not free and are very expensive! The wet play area is fantastic although it maybe needs more staff in this area to keep an eye things,as we were sat watching our daughter having fun we saw at least 4 children come down the slides in the wet area very fast and injuring themselves as they shot out the bottom,my daughter actually got a burn on her arm from the slide, its too steep and fast especially when the children are also wet, play area is brilliant,a kids dream come true! There is food in the play area but its chips chips or chips! there is another cafe to eat but it was packed and to be honest the sandwiches were not great! these are just little things that need tweaking otherwise it was a lovely day ,my only advice is bring a picnic and dont forget your cossie!

Although the entry price is somewhat dear it was money well spent for a full day of activities. Not only the animals but my kids (8 & 2 x 5 yo) enjoyed the adventure parks and the water fountain park. As a bonus, prices for food and goods inside was not extortionate.

The whole family enjoyed it immensely.

Went today (BH Monday) with wife and two young children.

We ordered the tickets online and decided to arrive at around 10:30. Car park was filling up, however, the stewards ensured that parking was stress free.

Queued to show our tickets and entered the park, bought a Starbucks coffee (they have a franchise vending machine) and some drinks for the girls..not a bad price.

Girls enjoyed the rides and the wet play area, the zoo was enjoyable and apart from some minor queuing it was remarkably easy to walk around the park.

The train, rhino ride and Hello Kitty areas were good. This is not an amusement park and is clearly aimed at 2 - 10 yr olds.

Is it worth the money?, not completely convinced, however, there was enough to do for the girls to be entertained for 4+ hrs.

Myself my mum and my three boys aged 15 months, 6 and 8 went yesterday to drusillas and literally had the most amazing time!
There were so many new attractions it kept my children completely entertained from the minute we arrived until the minute we left!
The zoo had some brilliant new additions like the giant anteaters and the raccoons, both of which my boys love!
The new swimming area with fountains is just hours of fun, then there's the safari train the go safari rides and hello kitty land!!
Wr left with 3 very tired children who all agreed what a brilliantly fun day it had been,
visited previously and didn't think it was worth the entrance fee as adults and children all pay the same price.
but now I'd happily pay again and again we have now purchased season tickets!
Well done drusillas for upping your game! A really excellent place to visit with kids!!

I have visited Drusillas on many occasions, with children and on my own, being an animal addict!
It is extremely well laid out, informative and easy to get around. I like the large areas to eat, inside and out and the staff are so helpful.
Education officer, Carla Dray, who has been at the zoo for many years is a joy to listen to as her passion and knowledge of the animals in her care is so apparent.
It is fairly expensive but offers great value for money as it is such a memorable day out.
Highly recommend it!!😧🐒🐴🕷🐷

Really good value for money. My daughter had an amazing time. She loved the animals and play areas. Yes there were queues but it's there summer holidays so it was expected.
Will definitely be coming back

Parking is free.Great place to visit I was really impressed by the interactive things and challenges lots of great rides for children. I just question the adult price but especially a child price a 3 year old pays £19..yes £19 now i know rides are included but that is an extortionate amount for a child. I would suggest:
Under 5s free
6-11 age half adult fee
12 and over adult price

Toilets were generally clean and tidy. I Used the gents near the oasis cage and play area. Maybe a sign to say female staff may enter would be helpful (my wife said she saw one but I didn't...went back still didn't see one)

Food:we were in explorers cafe and it was very good value for money. Decent food ..what you see on pictures paid just over £16

Park is very good and large great play area-best i have seen.Staff were friendly and ample of them around to help. Staff were seen cleaning areas which was good

Noticed a few smokers huts, for me there shouldn't be any not only for members of the public but the animals. They seem redundant because the smoke just leaves. One of the smokers huts is next To smoothie and picnic food area...for me that is not right or fair, but most were in places out of the way

Zoo is easy and comfortable for buggys

I visited Drusillas park yesterday with my two 4 year olds and 12 year old niece.

It was a lovely surprise to see that Pepper and George were also at the park that day!
After queuing no longer than 15 minutes my boys got their photo and hug!

We spent the next hour or so on all the rides safe and enjoyable for my four year olds (and also my niece and I!!)

After lunch we went back to the start and went round the zoo route, so many different animals and activities on the way round.

A fun filled day which has been the highlight of the summer holidays!!

Thank you Drusillas!

Had tickets for free children so entry fee wasn't to bad at £39.99 for a family of four. However full entry price would of been very expensive. Had a good day out was of course very busy as was a peak week day. New things have been added since our last visit, like hello kitty land and the safari area, was great to see these where included in the entry price. Thought panning for gold at £4 per person was overpriced when all you get is a plastic medal. But the kids enjoyed doing it and wearing their medals. Staff are really friendly and jolly. We had lunch there which was ok but again overpriced but always is at places like this. Overall a good day out and will visit again.

Fantastic place for young children, the animals are clearly visible and the playground is HUGE! With something for all ages.
Take a swimming costume for warm days. I suggest arriving early as you will want to spend the whole day but expect a bit of a wait to get in, we waited about 40 min but I think that was because peppy pig was there :) even so, well worth the wait!

Great place to take the kids. Lots to do. But don't forget a swim suit and towel for the kids as they really enjoyed running through the water fountains while the adults can have coffee and plently of seating to watch.
