I bought my Daughter a Close Encounter with the Sloths experience for her birthday and she absolutely loved it, we both did! We were met by the lovely Zoo Keeper Julie and she took us to where they prepare the animals food. Once inside the enclosure it wasn’t long before the Sloths came down for their food... they are gorgeous!! Julie was really informative, telling us about their habits etc. I highly recommend this experience for anyone that loves Sloths! And Julie, keep up the good work!!

Great day out. Went on a school day so it was nice and quiet, although this did mean that some places were closed They do advise you about this so it wasn't a problem and it means there will be new things to experience when we return :)

Apart from that rest was okay<br>Edit to the reply i had i did return it back and the lady didn't seem to care gave me another mouldy one and put the other back into the fruit bowl. I looked at the fruit bowl to find all satsumas were mouldy!

Plenty to do with the younger children. Well worth paying extra for the gold memberships as my youngest spends most of their time on the climbing wall and penquin plunge. Food can be a bit pricey but there are plenty of areas to have a picnic/take your own food. Get there early to avoid the queues to get in. Also worth packing extra socks for the kids as play areas can get wet (esp around panning for gold/ penquin plunge) and no-one wants a miserable child with wet socks/shoes!

I wouldn't actually reccomend this personally as I thought it was a bit run down , neglected, poor selection of animals and basic fairground rides at a premium price of £100 for a family of 4. My main bug bare was after charging this hefty admission fee they then charge you extra to go on the 3 only good attractions Rock climbing , Death slide (penguin drop) and Panning for gold and to be honest I felt that was criminal and you dont really have a choice once your kids are looking at all the other children enjoying it. To be honest I am not a fan of Zoo's and especially not smaller ones with no impressive animals (lions, elephants Rhino and big monkeys / apes etc) But my Kids said it was the best day out they had had for a while and genuinely enjoyed it.

This could be made a much better experience if they cleaned up the Park and dropped additional charges (they make enough) The picknick area around the Penguin drop and rock climbing was very run down all the wood work was past its best the picnick tables worn and fencing looking shabby etc the penguin drop itself was covered in green algae / moss and not really acceptable condition given the media coverage last year regarding injurys / issues regarding bouncy castle / inflatable hire standards.

Lovely zoo, with happy and well looked after animals. It is starting to look a little worn around the edges in some areas and could do with a lick of paint.

There's a lot here, packed into a small site. The animals are the highlight. But there's also a waterpark, some small rides and a play area. Probably best with young children. I went with some teens and pre-teens though, and they also enjoyed it.

We had a fantastic day at drusillas today (may bank holiday 2019). The zoo is fantastic, and all the animals and enclosures are very well looked after and all look well, healthy and very happy. My self and partner both agreed it is with out doubt the cleanest and well kept zoo we have seen and even though it is over an hour away from us we were so glad we choose to pay a visit and was well worth the journey. The rides and park itself were extremely well looked after and our Little one loved all the rides and found them really entertaining, but I would defiantly say it's probably not the best park for older kids as the rides are designed for children to a certain age (12), all staff that we met were all very polite, helpful and friendly, and the food stalls reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this as a must see if your ever in the area, and don't think you will be disappointed, especially families with younger children.
Thanks drusillas for such a fantastic day! 👍

Recently went to Drusillas and had a really lovely day out with a 5 and 3 year old. Plenty to do and lots of information about all the different animals. Mine loved finding the animals and stamping their books as they went round. Rides were all great and despite being a busy day didn’t queue more then 5min each ride plus they were all suitable for both my boys to go on. We are in the restaurant and found the food to be very nice and good value for money. The play park is good but quite big so was a bit of a struggle keeping a eye on both of mine once they ran off in different direction s! We spent all day in the park and found all of the staff to be friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back again soon.

Super nice experience, guide was sweet and zoo is pretty big. As a part of the trip you can meet animals and feed them.

I love zoos, not many big animals but lots of lovely little ones that you can get really close to and some will even sit on your head!
