My son aged 5 has recently started and we could not recommend it enough. The classes are firstly fun and give the children confidence as well as them learning a skill. My sons main teacher Amanda is always full of energy and amazing with the children. It has a real family vibe and we have felt very welcomed.

My daughter was very shy before she joined canton, but after each lesson I can see her confidence growing.. she loves her karate and the sensei’s are all lovely… to know that in the end she will be able to take care of herself without fear, fills me with joy so thank you canton..

We've had a great experience at Canton! My son started going and has developed tremendously, physically and mentally. He has more endurance and strength and can focus on longer term goals that require spaced practice. The dojo is very welcoming, the staff and students are open and friendly and the leaders are inspirational and nurturing. My daughter has also started going and ahi looks so cute in her tiny gi!

The Canton Martial Arts classes are too good.The coaching staff is taking care of individual student and helping them to learn the moves quickly. Overall its a good place to learn Martial Arts and keep body fit and strong and also have some fun.

My Son Paarthan joined Canton Martial arts in 2021 and absolutely love it. He has gained focus, confidence , discipline and real world advice and guidance from his sessions. Kigen and all the sensei's are excellent in their approach and training. This is one class he looks forward to attend each time .Well done all the team and would certainly recommend to anyone in the local area who want their children to learn self defence, martial arts , and gaining confidence in self.

My stepson has been doing Muay Thai and BJJ here the past month. Already I have seen a BIG difference in his confidence and fitness. The progress he is making is rapid. Due to the friendly and inclusive nature of this dojo.

On moving to sunny Eastbourne<br>I joined Canton to do kickboxing at 55 years of age at no time did I feel out of place all I can say is it’s a fabulous club<br><br>The instructor and owner Richard Canton is a superb teacher along with his wife Claire the club is family friendly too<br><br>I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this club to anyone

Fantastic martial arts club. Keeps kids motivated and help build their confidence. Can highly recommend them. We've been with them for over 4years and no plans to leave. Our boys really benefit from the structure, discipline and building friendships.

Absolutely amazing club. My son joined first and it really helped him with discipline, confidence and letting off energy. We loved it so much we all joined. And now train as a family together. Canton is simply amazing! You can tell how passionate everyone is about promoting all that comes with martial arts. What I love most is how even with big classes, they’re still there to support everyone’s individual journey. My son had tried other clubs but hasn’t ever found his feet. He started at Canton a few weeks ago and he settled in like he’s part of the family straight away! Very very relatable and knowledgeable coach’s and a lovely friendly atmosphere. He’s very happy to be learning kick-boxing with you and I hope he continues to enjoy it as much as he currently is!
