Top notch traditional butchers. If it's not in the counter ask, they're always happy to prepare it. Their Sussex sausages are as good as Lincolnshire's finest, something I never thought possible!

Excellent butchers offering friendly, helpful service and quality meat sourced locally – we wouldn't go anywhere else.<br><br>The Sussex sausages are a family favourite, as are the chicken burgers, pork loin steaks and steak mince. We also get our Christmas Turkey from Graham every year and it is always exceptional.

Fresh meat, and I have enjoyed pork, chicken, beef and lamb products, all excellent. Service from Graham is great as he is widely knowledgeable... then just when you think it can't get better you discover their home made sausage rolls... heaven!

Fantastic spread of mouth watering choices of all kinds of meats some marinaded (fab for your BBQ) and great open till 4pm on at Saturday! Your local friendly butchers . Wide range of cuts of meat and also sell eggs and pickles etc. Fab 👌 .

Went in to Brains to order my leg of lamb for Christas day today. Spoke to Graham...what he doesnt know about meat isn't worth knowing. Always delicious food from here and my local lamb joint I just know will make our christmas! Thanks brains!

Bought a Rib of beef this morning, cooked the rib of beef this evening and I must say, I don’t think I have ever tasted beef so full of flavour and tenderness, even the large pieces of fat hanging on the side were tender, juicy, and mouth watering. I’m not from the area, but I wish I was cause this would be my go to place, Will definitely visit again this year!<br><br>Big up the sausage roll too, best sausage roll going thick and meaty like a baseball bat not like the terrible bready Sausage rolls u get elsewhere.<br><br>Also they offer good advice on how to cook the meat!

You will struggle to match the quality of meat and service. We have been going there for over 20 years, found by accident.<br>They will cut a joint to what you want, I am ex chef and occasionally do a charity function, I have always found them great value as no waste.<br>Guests are always amazed at the meal and I send them to Brains to get the meat.<br>Keep up the good work!!!<br><br>Mark and Susan
