Thorough eye testing - I have a family history of severe eye problems and I trust Botts to spot issues soon enough and to recommend next steps. Their opticians and equipment are top notch. They explain what they are doing and tell me in plain English what the results mean. They remind me about check ups and provide cost-effective solutions for my glasses and contact lenses. Really friendly, helpful and reassuring.

As I was experiencing awful headaches, I contacted Botts to request an eye test as they were local to my work base. Instead of an automated message, my call was promptly answered by Adam. His friendly manner instantly put me at ease and he was able to book me an eye test/ consultation within 48 hours which was a surprise.<br>On arrival, I was met by Adam and he explained who I would be seeing. And was surprised to learn I was the sole person present and this made me feel valued as a customer, compared to joining several other people waiting for tests which I had previously experienced in a well known high street opticians.<br>The optician was lovely and I was very impressed with the modern technology used to perform my eye scans and assessment. All of which were explained to me, so I felt involved and reassured. Adam then used his expertise to advise on the reading glasses /frames I would need. He explained that there had been an offer available to all NHS staff and this was the last day,so the cost of my test and glasses would be discounted. Which was a lovely surprise. I left Botts feeling so relieved that my headaches were not as a result of something more sinister. And felt excited to be receiving my new glasses in a few weeks time.<br>On collecting my glasses, the case was snazzy & colourful and felt like an extra treat!<br>Botts have since created a newsletter for all their customers, to update them of new equipment and how they continue to develop professionally to reassure their customers that they are getting the very best advice and service.<br>As a result of my experience, I have since recommended Botts to family and friends and they too have been pleased with the service.

Impressed with everything about the eye appointment, great service. I ordered two pairs of prescription glasses and unfortunately one pair came back with the wrong prescription. I had to wait a few weeks for the correct glasses to come through which was a bit of a pain but all ended well.

Very nice opticians. The staff were very helpful and attentive, yet also allowed us to browse freely. I had already had my eye test elsewhere, so only purchased glasses, but I will definitely come here to get an eye test next time.

An outstanding and generous optician with exemplary kindness and a wide variety of good quality glasses. I was offered free glasses, as part of Bott's opticians offer to NHS. I chose the pair of glasses that I liked, and in a few days I had an absolutely free pair, according to my prescription.
