I had an eye test last week, once COVID 19 pandemic restrictions were lifted, and was very pleased with the way they handled everything. They only let in 2 clients at the most, seats are covered and wiped down afterwards, masks are worn, there is absolutely no need to worry about anything. The eye test was thorough and all the staff are very friendly. I highly recommend Barracloughs!

Had my eye check yesterday by James Miller. A very pleasant young man who (although still pre registration) clearly knows his stuff. Excellent care, really pleased I chose Barracloughs when we moved to Eastbourne 2 years ago.

I thought Independents were out of my price range & they are not. Give them a try you will be pleasantly surprised š<br>I have received real one to one service,personal to my eyes & how I use them & I will be paying a lot less for the option I actually require than a multiple had suggested š<br>Nigel Barraclough is 5***** š Happily Recommend Barracloughs to Anyone

Mr Robert Dearie is the best optometrist in Eastbourne. Always puts the kids at ease making it enjoyable for the kids rather than a stressful experience. I always recommend him to everyone.

All the staff that I came across in the Eastbourne branch were friendly and helpful. I chose Barraclough's because I wanted a more personal service where I felt the advisor / optician had knowledge, experience and a willingness to discuss requirements. I was not disappointed and I will now be booking my wife in for her eye test and next set of glasses.

Excellent service from all the staff, so difficult to single out anyone. The reception team were welcoming and friendly. Despite having glasses for 30+ years Antoinette explained everything and I even learnt a few things. Victoria did my retinal photography, she was so warm and friendly. Sharon has been so helpful trying to locate frames that meet my requirements and she called me back when she said she would. Iām so glad I changed to Barracloughs.

exceptional costumer service! i had the most thorough eye examination by mr. patel (have not had those kinds of tests from previous opticians) and has explained and answered my questions. sharon on the other hand, took her time to show me their collection and also rang to order a different colour for me to choose with no obligation. all the staff have been accomodating and very helpful. you have a very amazing team. barracloughs meassures everything from your eyes, the lens, centre of vision, the frames! i am glad to have tried you!

Our optician Nigel is always great with our sight tests and explains every aspect really well. Charlene was excellent in her explanation's of our options and how certain frames may or may not be suitable. Since we have been using Barracloughs all the staff have always been friendly, helpful and professional.

my appointment was at 14:45 on 01/03/2017, I had no wait I was seen immediately by Mr Dearie. I explained what had happened to me since my last check up and he was very considerate and carried out the examination very professionally giving me total confidence in the results. I tun chose a pair of Rodenstock frames and the young lady explained about the choice of lens and the options available. I also explained about the condition of my current lens and she offered to approach Rodenstock on getting my new glasses to see if there was anything that could be done. Very satisfied

I had a problem with my spectacle frame and I couldn't get to Bexhill (my usual Branch) so I called into the Eastbourne Store.<br><br>What helpful staff - friendly warm reception and the problem was immediately fixed and I waited less than five minutes!! Highly recommended
