My appointment with you was pleasant and reassuring. Antoinette was very thorough and explained all aspects of the eye inspection thoroughly with a lovely sense of humour which made me feel comfortable and secure. The receptionist (whose name escapes me, sorry) was also very pleasant and helpful, making the whole appointment easy and constructive. Thank you to allKind regards MarkSuggestions for improvement. Antoinette was excellent, explaining in detail the images taken and what the cause and ongoing impact of 'flashes' within my eye are and could be. All of my questions were answered and I came away a lot less anxious than when I arrived!

Went along for an eye test, not something I traditionally look forward to, but had a surprisingly plelasant experience with the helpful and knowledgable people from Barracloughs. I will be going back in the future.

I was able to make an appointment in Eastbourne online easily and for the next day, and Trevor Amey was wonderful and patient. He has managed to diagnose an issue that has eluded all the practitioners with whom I have undergone eye tests and eye health checks for some years now, and I am hugely grateful to him that I now know what I can do to resolve this.

An excellent eye test in Polegate by James Miller, thank you. Then, as my prescription had changed, Gwillym helped me choose some new frames. He was most helpful and also arranged for some frames in different colours to be sent to Polegate so I can try them too. All the staff are very friendly ... it's always a pleasure to visit.

Today i took advantage of the free hearing test. This was done by Katie Willis, i found her to be excellent. Very professional, friendly, she explained all the test and the results. Was very impressed by the way she conducted herself and was grateful for her knowledgeable advice for my future care with my hearing. I will definitely return for my free annual test as recommended.

Fabulous service from all staff involved the optician Antoinette made my son feel very comfortable and at ease throughout his examination. The help we received with choosing new glasses was great and I no point we were rushed. I would definitely recommend Barracloughs to others.

Great place went there today. Antionette my optician was really helpful and kind. She explained to me what the pictures of my eyes meant and I was never bored throughout the exam. Sam was also really helpful and kind. Really like this place and the receptionists are also really nice. Thanks guys!

Charlene was absolutely amazing. Although she was on her own and I had to wait for half an hour for her to be free to help me with my new glasses, once she sat down with me I didnt even care. She was so lovely and helpful and is an asset to your eastbourne store

Your staff at Eastbourne are always courteous and helpful. Both ladies that i saw were knowledgeable, helpful, explained everything clearly and i left at ease with all our discussions, knowing exactly where i stand with my glasses and contact lenses. Very impressed.

Great service. Really catered to my autistic needs and made good reasonable adjustments. Antoinette very friendly and put me at ease and other staff very welcoming. Am grateful I moved from optical direct and ended up at this branch. Anyone I've ever met through both has been friendly, reassuring and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. Definitely recommend them.
