SENIOR OPEN GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP - CARNOUSTIE

A star studded field is set for Carnousite with 9 former Ryder Cup captains now confirmed as taking part, including Nick Faldo, Bernhard Langer, Ian Woosnam, Sam Torrance and Mark James.
For the first time a current US Ryder Cup captain Corey Pavin will be playing. Also from the US Tom Lehman, Tom Kite and my personal golfing hero Tom Watson who won his first Major at Carnoustie in 1975 - a true gentleman on and off the course.
74 year old Gary Player also returns to the scene of the "greatest shot of his career" to take his place in the prestigious Seniors Open Championship.
