HAIRY BIKERS IN THE FLESH!!
This weekend sees the annual Dundee Flower and food Festival at Camperdown Park, Dundee. After last years 'monsoon' weather this year’s event seems to be set fair. Fingers crossed!
This year’s celebrity line up includes popular TV Chefs, the Hairy Bikers, who will be at the festival on Saturday and Sunday It will be good to see their interpretation of the local Dundee cuisine. Fancy stovies Hairy Biker style??
Highlights of the event include the National Vegetable Society Championships, Children's Marquee, Food Festival showcasing Scottish Food and Drink.
Lots of goodies to taste with free cookery demonstrations featuring local chefs together with a large number of trade stands offering tastings and selling high quality local produce.
A great family day out, Children’s Marquee has a colour theme running through the competitions. This year it's RASPBERRY!. Lots of events too - Music stage, Puppet Theatre and more.
The Best of Dundee and Angus will also be at the Festival to showcase our local business membership. The Best of Dundee and Angus only promote and support the BEST local businesses in our region.
