Every day people and community groups in Coventry volunteer their services to help others in need, making a real difference to people's lives.

Volunteers and local community groups tirelessly give their time, free of charge and make a massive difference to people's lives, often without praise or recognition for the invaluable work they do.

The Queen's Award for Voluntary Service, the equivalent to the MBE for volunteer groups is your chance to recognise the service that volunteers and groups provide within the local community.

Nominations are now being taken for The Queen's Award 2014 - This is your chance to show your support and appreciation for all the hard work our community volunteers provide.

Who do you know who deserves to receive this prestigious award..?

On-line nominations for consideration are now being accepted and must be received by the Awards Office by Monday 30th September 2013.

You can find more details, which volunteering groups are eligible to be nominated and submit your nomination on-line for The Queens Voluntary Award 2014 by Clicking Here!

We would love to hear about any voluntary community groups in Coventry that you have nominated so we can add them to our Local Coventry Guides and help raise awareness of the great work they do!
