What’s your theme for 2010?
At the beginning of each New Year I start thinking about what can make me better at what I do and how I can grow my business to make the next 12 months the most successful ever – Pretty much the same as every other business owner on the planet does!
However, what I do, is to choose a “one word theme” that is the guiding factor in influencing everything I do for the coming year. I picked this tip up from Mari Smith who is well worth checking out at www.marismith.com
Last year my one word theme was “Learning”. I vowed to do more research, buy more books, ensure I was up to speed with all the latest technology and attend more seminars and training courses, after all as the old saying goes……
“A formal education will earn you a living – Self education will earn you a fortune"
This year my one word theme is..
“Engaging”
With the phenomenon of Social Media, face book, Twitter, etc it has never been easier to “Engage” with your potential and existing customers, as long as every time you engage with someone you are offering them useful, relevant and interesting information which they find valuable (in other words don’t try and sell to them), you can’t go wrong!
Useful, Relevant and Interesting are just a few words you may want to consider but there are plenty to choose from, Choice, Perseverance, Momentum and Influence are a few more – So what is your theme for 2010?
