FORMER PLAYER DONATES TO COVENTRY RFC!
Former Coventry player, Chris Millerchip has made a generous £50,000 donation towards the club ahead of their battle for survival in The Championship.
Chris Millerchip represented English Schools and gained three Blues before joining Coventry in 1983 where he gained a reputation as an elusive runner with strong tackling skills.
Now chief executive of international law business, the Practical Law Company, the Oxford graduate is a product of King Henry VIII School and responded with his donation when he heard of the club’s appeal.
Chairman Peter Rossborough said: “This underlines the sort of trust that is returning in the running of the club. We are working hard to attract investors as shareholders and that programme is going well.
“Chris’ donation is extremely generous and we will ensure that his money is put to good use. Confidence is returning among shareholders and potential investors that their money is in good hands and will go entirely to returning Coventry RFC to greatness.”
