South Africa World Cup 2010 comes to Coventry!

BB Recording Studios in Coventry complete World Cup Anthem:

"We Invented the Game.. Terry, Leave that Skirt Alone!"

Just last month Born in a Barn Recording Studio in Coventry was proud to have chart topping Tinie Tempah drop in and record his stuff to a track by American band 3Oh!3. "Don't Trust Me" feat. Tinie Tempah is available in the iTunes store. What a day that was - fast pace!

Just a few days ago (in between getting stranded in Portugal due to the crazy Icelandic Mount Eyjaffjalljokull volcanic ash crisis) we completed another big track at the studio for the World Cup 2010 in South Africa  - the track is titled "We Invented the Game ... Terry, Leave that Skirt Alone!"  - its brilliantly crafted starting with simple marching, horn & chants, lots of loveable-rogue style voices & funny words, then leading to big catchy chorus plus theres a surprise speech in the middle!

2 of the lads are in bands including Dean from Coventry's 'The Session' and Simon who is in the Jaguar Brass Band, whilst Phil worked for the Telegraph until recently and John is on the round table.

Mixed to be appealing to large crowds, easily learned and chanted in the stands - it's a must listen. It's been played on BBC Coventry & Warwickshire radio already and is in the Telegraph too. Touch FM and Mercia are playing it tomorrow (Sat 8th).

Feature in the Video!!

Video is being shot this weekend with Marstons Brewery sponsoring this as they are supplying the pub to film part of it and Carling are watching closely we're told!! We are offering members the chance to be in the video If they can make it to either of these events:

Sat 8th May 10.00 - 12.00 at the Ricoh Arena - must be dressed in England strips or other full football kits at best

Sat 8th May 18.00 - 21.00 at the Albany Pub in Earlsdon - again bring as much England stuff as you have

Let us know what you think about the track!

Please forward these links about it:

Cheers
Roger

Ps Just next weekend the studio is holding a Hen Party Recording Experience and the bride-to-be has offered to get her 'crew' to add a female chorus - can't wait for that one!

Come on England!
