England Set to Host the 2015 Rugby World Cup
Coventry Ricoh Arena to Host the 2015 Rugby World Cup Pool Games!
It has been confirmed that England will host the Rugby World Cup in 2015 and Coventry has been chosen as one of 10 cities across England and Wales where the Rugby World Cup Pool Matches will be played.
Having already hosted high profile Rugby games such as the EDF Energy Cup Final and Heineken Cup Fixtures the Ricoh Arena in Coventry is the chosen venue for the Rugby World Cup 2015 Pool games.
With a capacity of around 32,000 at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry and excellent motorway links, Coventry is set to benefit from an Army of Rugby fans from around the world which can only be good news for Coventry as whole.
Having been formed since 1872 Coventry Rugby Club has a fantastic Rugby Heritage and it is only fit and proper that a Rugby City as Coventry, with such a Rich Rugby History should be selected to host the Rugby World Cup 2015 Pool Games.
Hopefully the knock-on affect of Coventry hosting The Rugby World Cup 2015 Pool Games will be bigger attendances at The Butts Park Arena the Home of Coventry Rugby Club.
The 2009 / 2010 Rugby Season has generated a lot of expectation from Rugby fans across Coventry as this Season Coventry RFC will be competing in the newly formed Championship and with Coventry bringing in a host of New Players there is genuine Optimism amongst Coventry Rugby Fans.
