Two of thebestofchester members have combined forces to claim a prestigious award.

Agile Group and THE Group Ltd’s work with a joint client has recently seen the organisations claim the Regional National Training Award for Wales which propelled the alliance forward to the UK national competition.

The pair proceeded to compete against 9 other regions from England, Northern Ireland and Scotland to become the UK National Training Award winners for organisations up to 250 employees (Medium Sized Companies).

An intense judging process involved a detailed written submission followed by (for those making it past submission stage) a rigorous 80-minute panel interview which involved the companies and their client.

Pete Stevens, said: “Gone are the days where you could have a training company of 2, 3 or 4 associates and expect to compete with the very best. THE Group and Agile offer a winning combination of coaches, mentors, e-learning, facilitation and training experts qualified to a minimum of degree level in business coaching and leadership. This blend of specialisms gives us the capability and competence to support a wide range of clients in numerous sectors.

“We have proven that we can take on the big boys, the largest and most expensive training organisations across the UK and we can match or even exceed their performance. What is so important about this award is that it is from professionals in our own market sector – it is fellow professionals saying 'In 2011, you are the Best of the Best’.  This is a great feeling.”

Mr Stevens explained THE Group and Agile collaborate and use their wide-ranging experience, knowledge and skills to respond to each client’s unique requirements.

He added: “Every programme is different; tailored depending upon the individual and organisational needs. This collaborative approach, underpinned by a ‘win-win’ philosophy and the ability to blend techniques means that THE/Agile can help clients make the most of their budgets – choosing the best strategies that deliver results and vitally, value for money.”
