The Chester Grosvenor has signed a 10-year management agreement with Chester hotel, restaurant and bar Oddfellows.

The business deal will see a team from The Chester Grosvenor helping to transform Oddfellows as it undergoes a major redevelopment.

The collaboration between the two city landmark venues is part of an ambitious expansion project which will see Oddfellows increase its number of rooms from 4 to 18, redevelop its popular garden and revamps its restaurant and bar.

Oddfellows will feature a new restaurant by executive chef Simon Radley – his first outside of The Chester Grosvenor.

The Chester Grosvenor’s managing director Jonathan Slater, finance director Fiona McBurnie and Simon Radley are part of the management team who will work with the Oddfellows’ owners.

A spokesman for Oddfellows said: “We look forward to working with The Chester Grosvenor to establish a boutique hotel, restaurant and bar that continues to improve the city as a business and leisure destination."
