The director of a North Wales’ prize-winning firm of financial advisers has attained a professional accolade that will, he believes, distinguish his business in the local area as well as the north-west region.

Stephen Jones director at 75point3, which provides advice to individuals and businesses on all aspects of financial planning for pensions, life assurance, investments and mortgages, was elected as a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute (FCII) on 1st December.

Prior to the election Stephen passed several degree-level exams to become an associate before completing other aspects of the institute’s requirements. Fellowship of the CII is universally regarded as the premier qualification for those working in the insurance industry. While an associateship identifies commitment, a fellowship highlights that the person has taken this commitment one step further. In addition, acquiring FCII accreditation demonstrates knowledge, experience and professionalism to the world.

Commenting on its benefits, Stephen Jones said: “75point3 now holds corporate chartered status, which means that we subscribe to the CII’s code of business ethics and in doing so provide an exceptional service to our clients. 2011 will see 75point3 complete the refurbishment of seven offices across North Wales, allowing the public direct access to our financial product offering as well as our in-house Santander and Principality Building Society agencies.”
