Leading regional law firm Walker Smith Way has appointed a new marketing manager, based at the practice’s Chester office.

Holly Nelson, 25, takes on her new role fresh from law firm Hill Dickinson’s marketing and business development team, where she spent two years as Communications Executive.

Holly says: “Having already worked in a large legal firm, I’m delighted to be joining Walker Smith Way. It’s a really exciting time to be promoting the firm’s full range of legal services both locally and across the country, having expanded our offices to cover Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham and London, as well as Chester and Wrexham.”

Senior Partner Brian Dawson adds: “Already possessing a thorough understanding of legal services marketing, Holly is a valuable addition to our marketing team. We are confident that her strategic approach will help us reach the next level as we continue to expand.”

Originally from Aberystwyth, Holly studied English Literature and Music at the University of Sheffield, graduating in 2006 before beginning her marketing career.

Holly is a keen advocate of Corporate Social Responsibility, using her spare time to help a number of local charities that don’t have the funds to carry out their own marketing. She is also an honorary member of the Steering Committee for the NSPCC Cheshire Woman of the Year award which has raised over £200,000 for the NSPCC to date.
