Mark Taylor, Adrian Lomas and Robert Dilworth, three friends from Cheshire have set themselves a huge challenge to raise funds for a local charity.

You may have heard of the Three Peaks challenge with the three highest mountains of England, Scotland and Wales being climbed within 24 hours, well Adrian and a couple of his friends thought that they would make it a bit harder.

Starting on 31st May, they plan to climb Snowdon, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis but also kayak the length of Bala, Windermere and Loch Lomond and cycle in between rather than drive!

It all adds up to:

• 3 mountains – a climb of over 11,000 ft
• 3 lakes – kayaking for 35 miles
• 3 countries – cycling over 400 miles

And all within 96 hours.

Adrian, Mark and Rob will be tweeting throughout the journey @333challenge and you will be able to track them by logging onto the challenge website, www.333challenge.co.uk. They hope to raise £7,000 for the North West Cancer Research Fund. You can sponsor them at http://www.justgiving.com/Adrian-Lomas.

Adrian Lomas, Managing Director of Cheshire Digital Agency Blueleaf said, “This is a massive challenge! I don’t think any of us realised when we first discussed the idea in the pub, just how difficult it was going to be. Put simply, we will be cycling and rowing further than John Bishop did for Sport Relief and then we’ll be climbing three mountains. Every single penny you are able to donate for The North West Cancer Research Fund will be well earned!”
