Leading Chester law firm Hillyer McKeown have been appointed to a legal panel advising The North West Fund.

The North West Fund is a £185m evergreen investment fund established to provide debt and equity funding to small and medium sized businesses in the North West between now and the end of 2015. The Fund will address an identified gap in the lending, venture capital and private equity markets.

Hillyer McKeown will advise on employment law issues which will include advising North West Businesses on issues such as employment contracts, the TUPE regulations, key employee incentivisation, post termination restrictive covenants and varying terms and conditions of employment.

Lindsey Kidd, Partner at Hillyer McKeown who will act as the Contract Manager between Hillyer McKeown and the Fund Managers of the North West Fund said: "We're delighted to have been selected as one of several firms to join the legal panel for The North West Fund.
