Cheshire residents have the opportunity to watch some traditional festive entertainment on their doostep this

December. The Panto "Dick Whittington and his Cat" is coming to the Pavilion Suite at Chester Racecourse on Sunday 4th December, with 3 performances at 2pm, 4.30pm and 7pm.

Some of the characters recently  took time out of their busy rehearsals to visit the Special Care Baby Unit and the Children's Ward to cheer up some of the  younger patients being treated at the Countess of Chester Hospital. "We are absolutley delighted that our Special Care Baby Unit is being supported through this event and we will use the funds raised towards the cost of  purchasing some new equipment we currently have on trial in the unit" said Fundraising Manager Janet Ratcliffe.

Tickets are priced at £13 for adults, £9.50 for children and a family ticket is on offer at just £36 for 2 adults and 2 children, and can be purchased either from the hospital fundraising office, or by visiting www.visitchester.com/panto or calling 0845 2417868 Free parking is available.
