As Chester unveils its One City Plan, leading Chester law firm Hillyer McKeown are urging businesses to pull together to help achieve the ambitious plans the region has for itself.

More than 200 stakeholders from the Chester community were asked to contribute their thoughts to the One City Plan – a plan that will put in place a development strategy for Chester for the next 15years.

“One of the key strategies to the success of this vision is the collaboration between the public and the private sector” commented Steve Harvey, Partner at Hillyer McKeown.

“The plan envisages Chester city centre as a thriving business environment with state of the art facilities to match” continued Steve.

“Chester offers a lot of potential in terms of skilled workforce and we know that attracting inward investment and businesses to the city will be key to creating a thriving and competitive business community”.

“Hillyer McKeown has been involved during the consultation process and we have contributed our thoughts and offered our support to the One City Plan” said Steve. “We’re urging all local businesses to pull together to make these ambitious and dynamic plans a reality”.
