Leading Chester Law Firm, Hillyer McKeown, have appointed local solicitor Ruth Heap to further strengthen their Wills, Trusts and Estates team.
Following a successful career since 2003 working for Steggles solicitors in their Chester, Wrexham and Ruabon offices, Ruth is delighted to have joined the Hillyer McKeown team.
Ruth hails from Wrexham and was educated at Ysgol Morgan LLwyd. She gained her BA Degree in History from the University of York, followed by a Post Graduate Diploma in Law. Ruth then continued her studies with a Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in York before joining Steggles on a training contract in 2003.
Ruth is a fluent Welsh speaker, which will be a further asset to the Hillyer McKeown team following the recent opening of their Wrexham office. Ruth will bring to Hillyer McKeown her expertise of Will drafting, trust administration, probate and estate administration, elderly client advice as well as lasting powers of attorney and deputyship matters. Ruth also deals with Residential Conveyancing and related property matters. Of joining Hillyer McKeown, Ruth said “I’m pleased to have joined Hillyer McKeown.
