Whether you are looking for a night away, a relaxing spa treatment, or a private or corporate function, by choosing The Grosvenor Pulford Hotel & Spa – owned and operated by Nelson Hotels – you will be in good company. Many VIPs including Jean-Christophe Novelli, Carol Vorderman and Jools Holland, have stayed at the luxury Cheshire hotel when in the area.  More recently the hotel was highly honoured to be able to accommodate Prince Harry.

Now, the four-star, AA rosette hotel will be even better than ever after a significant investment totalling £1,000,000 has been spent on some superb improvements, all of which are set to boost the already enviable reputation held by the Cheshire hotel. A breath-taking Asian Sensory Garden now takes centre stage outside the exclusive Spa by Kasia; whilst inside the picturesque hotel, 26 bedrooms are undergoing splendid refurbishments and two function rooms will also enjoy superb makeovers in the coming months.

The relaxing Asian Sensory Garden is due to open fully this summer following a £300,000 investment. This inspiring haven of tranquillity features handsome Japanese maples, azaleas, grasses and other perennials originating from Japan and the Far East; interspersed between eye-catching features including a stunning six-foot wide waterfall, a serene whirlpool providing sanctuary to over 50 vibrant Koi Carp, a Japanese style bridge and a magnificent Japanese Tea House in which spa guests can enjoy Japanese Tea ceremonies.

Exclusive to Spa by Kasia guests between 12noon and 3pm, the garden offers peace and tranquillity, enhancing the relaxing experience enjoyed by guests at the renowned Spa by Kasia.  Hotel guests can appreciate the garden outside of these hours and well into the evening, thanks to subtle lighting which illuminates the spectacular garden after dusk; whilst bridal couples can take advantage of the space to capture stunning photographic memories of their wedding day.

Inside the hotel, a further 26 of the 73 bedrooms are undergoing substantial transformation. Providing the ultimate in style and guest comfort, the superior rooms showcase Armani-style four poster beds and luxurious decorative finishes including his ‘n’ hers marble vanity units, wetrooms, plus the very latest technology in the form of 40-inch flat screen digital televisions, media hubs and free wireless internet access. The superior rooms truly are fit for Royalty.

And that’s not all. Already one of Cheshire’s finest venues for conferences and events – and voted Cheshire’s Best Wedding Venue at the 2011 County Brides Awards – two of the five function rooms at the four-star hotel will undergo refurbishment, reinforcing the already high standard provided by the luxury hotel. The Belgrave Suite and The Westminster Suite comfortably accommodate groups of between six and 50 people. Each will offer fresh décor and superb facilities for corporate meetings, private dining and functions.

Lucy Nelson, sales and marketing director, comments: “We are extremely honoured to have earned a reputation for excellence and we are keen to ensure that we continue to provide excellent service and high levels of comfort in superb surroundings.  The on-going investment within the hotel will further elevate our standard of accommodation and functions, whilst the creation of the serene Asian Sensory Garden provides enjoyment and relaxation for each guest that passes through our doors. With so many developments underway this is an incredibly exciting time for the hotel.”
