FIERY TV chef Marco Pierre White is set to dine with Chester residents and inspire grass-roots talent with an official visit to the city this September.

Marco will be formally visiting his Chester restaurant at the DoubleTree by Hilton on Thursday 22 September to meet and dine with guests and also make time for local catering students.

Members of the public are invited to either a three-course lunch or dinner service with the famous chef himself at the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar and Grill, Chester.

Diners on the day will experience menus specially created for the event and be able to indulge in Marco’s affordable glamour concept.

Ten catering students from West Cheshire College have also been invited to the DoubleTree for an interactive questions and answers session with Marco.

The students will be able to meet and greet Marco personally and gain an exclusive insight into the catering and restaurant industry from the Godfather of modern cooking himself.

Students will then be presented with signed copies of Marco’s latest cook book ‘Marco Made Easy’ and get to sample the menu during a sitting in the restaurant’s private dining room.

Marco is also set to visit the new West Cheshire College Creative and Service Industry campus in Ellesmere Port on Friday 23 September where he will officially open the college restaurant, The Dining Room.

The Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar and Grill and the Doubletree by Hilton, Chester, are operated by Sanguine Hospitality Ltd and are located on Warrington Road, Chester CH2 3PD, seconds away from junction 12 of the M53.

Lunch with Marco Pierre White on Thursday 22 September is priced at £35 for three-courses. Dinner in the evening is priced at £65 and will include a bottle of Marco’s new Ale, ‘The Governor’, and an extended menu with the opportunity to meet Marco.
