A CHESTER hotel is set to host an event for the many fans that missed out on official Take That tour tickets this summer.

The DoubleTree by Hilton Chester is inviting the fans to experience one of the UK’s top Take That tribute acts this Friday, June 10, in association with Radio City’s charity Cash for Kids.

Take That 2 have played to sell-out venues across the UK and are set to take Europe by storm this year. The boys have also performed at the O2 arena for an official Take That after party and launched products for big brand names such as Boots and Virgin.

As Take That 2 entertains the crowd at the DoubleTree Chester, the neighbouring city of Manchester will play host to the real McCoys as Take That perform their sell-out tour at the City of Manchester Stadium the very same night.

Take That’s Progress Live Tour has broken records for ticket sales by selling over 1.1 million tickets in just one day. Due to the phenomenal demand for tickets many fans were left disappointed as websites and phone-lines crashed with the sheer volume of requests.

Clare Bebb, sales and marketing manager for Doubletree by Hilton Chester, says: “We always base our tribute nights on who the public want to see. The Take That tour will be huge this summer and with the average ticket now costing £150 from online auction sites our night is defiantly fantastic value for money.”

Following on from the success of previous tribute nights the DoubleTree by Hilton will once again team-up with Radio City’s Rick Vaughn in association with the station’s charity ‘Cash for Kids’.

The Cash for Kids charity deliver initiatives for sick and underprivileged children within the community, to benefit local children and give them a better and brighter future.

Tickets for the event are priced at £29.50 per person, which includes live entertainment, a three-course meal and disco. Residential packages are also available from £90 per person, including all entertainment plus bed and full English breakfast.
