RESPECTED Chester insurance broker, Daulby Read, is happy to announce the launch of a winning partnership with the Cheshire Jets Basketball Club.

The community insurance broker is delighted to be able to give Jets Foundation - the Cheshire Jets’ registered charity - its full support through the establishment of a fans’ “Affinity Programme”.

The new Affinity Programme between Daulby Read and the Cheshire Jets will take advantage of the Club’s huge following across the region by offering fans insurance policies which, if taken out, will directly benefit Jets Foundation through a percentage of the commission being paid back to the Foundation.

The new partnership will help to support Daulby Read’s strategy of serving the community of Chester and the surrounding areas. Daulby Read is developing many successful long term relationships within the local business community, including membership with the “bestofchester” business networking group.
Peter Goddard, Managing Director of Daulby Read Insurance Brokers said: “We’re committed to providing independent insurance advice and services to the people of Chester. Our clients know they can rely on us to find them the most appropriate insurance cover at the most competitive premiums.

“We now want to step up this support via the Affinity Club which really is a win-win. It means that if the Cheshire Jets’ members decide to take out an insurance policy with us, the Jets will get a share of the commission, which will then be ploughed in to the community projects they support via Jets Foundation. “

Peter Hawkins, Cheshire Jets Director said: “I’m delighted that Peter and the team at Daulby Read have come on board with us this season.  Right from the start we were impressed with their passion for making a real difference within the local community.  By partnering with us we can help them to continue to develop and grow their already strong community focus.

“The new Affinity Programme not only allows Jets’ fans to give something back to the club they love; but at the same time it gives them peace of mind that their affairs are being taken care of by a local company they can trust.”

In addition to the affinity programme, Daulby Read will also sponsor the first match of the season on Sunday 2 October 2011 against local rivals, Mersey Tigers. The event will be a chance to let the Club’s fans know about the new partnership.

The Jets’ Affinity Programme is part of Daulby Read’s wider work within the local community through such things as support and sponsorship of Nightingale House Hospice’s 2011 “Crimson Ball”.
