Laughter is said to be the best medicine and there is no better medicine to banish the winter blues than a night of comedy this winter. For one night only, the roof is set to be raised at Chester Town Hall as it stages its first ever Stand-up Comedy Night on Friday, November 21.

Comic, Rob Rouse, winner of ‘So You Think You’re Funny’ and panellist on 8 Out of 10 Cats and Celebrity Juice, will be joined by Seymour Mace of Jonny Vegas’ sitcom, ‘Ideal’ along with bright, young local talent, Adam Rowe.  Adding to this top billing, the evening will be hosted by Chester funny man, Danny McLoughlin.

The event will provide 2 hours of back to back comedy on stage, taking place in the Town Hall’s impressive auditorium, the Assembly Rooms.  Full bar facilities are available at the venue and the doors to the gig open at 8pm.  Last admission is at 8.45pm.

Advance tickets can be purchase from the Chester Racecourse Box Office on 01244 304 610 or by visiting the racecourse in person. Advance tickets cost £10 with NUS tickets available at £5.
