The team at the Grosvenor Pulford Hotel & Spa have their fingers firmly crossed after Ciro’s Brasserie was shortlisted for Restaurant of the Year, in the Cheshire Life Food and Drink Awards 2011.

The award for Restaurant of the Year, sponsored by Panache Interiors, will be decided by a panel of independent judges, who will consider the cuisine, service, ambience and individual qualities of nominated restaurants before announcing the winner at a glitzy award ceremony in Manchester on the 25th October.

Ciro’s Brasserie is one of two first-class restaurants at the four-star Grosvenor Pulford Hotel & Spa – owned and operated by Nelson Hotels.  The magnificent Mediterranean style restaurant was shortlisted for its striking ambience, reminiscent of a Tuscan Villa’s courtyard; and exemplary food from executive head chef Leigh Myers, encompassing an exciting modern European menu, firmly rooted in excellent local, seasonal ingredients.

Leigh comments: “It’s fantastic to be nominated for the Cheshire Life Restaurant of the Year award. We are passionate about delivering fantastic food and excellent service, ensuring each and every guest enjoys a first-class dining experience.  To have our work recognised in the form of this nomination, from such a popular and well regarded magazine, is amazing. We’ve all got our fingers crossed for the 25th October.”
