Aaron & Partners LLP, headquartered on Grosvenor Court, Foregate Street, has rounded off a successful 2010 by announcing the arrival of two solicitors from rival law firms.

Jane Hilyer has joined as associate employment solicitor from Hillyer McKeown in Chester, where she worked for three years. Jane will be joined in the employment team at Aaron & Partners by Andrew Dunning, who has taken up a permanent position after completing his training contract with the firm.

Meanwhile, Lois Wiegand has joined as an assistant in the corporate commercial practice, having left Mace & Jones in Liverpool, where she trained and then qualified in 2004.

Andy Duxbury, chief executive at Aaron & Partners, said: “It is always a pleasure to welcome fresh talent and I am sure Jane, Lois and Andrew will all have long and successful careers with us.”

Aaron & Partners is a full-service commercial law firm and also runs thriving matrimonial, wills, trusts and tax departments.

The firm has 19 partners and employs 95 people. It received more recommendations than any of its Cheshire-based rivals in the latest edition of the prestigious Legal 500, which ranks law firms in more than 100 countries and is widely regarded as the definitive industry guide.

The latest arrivals follow the appointment of two partners earlier in the year: Richard Barge as head of family law and David Kerfoot as partner in the planning, environmental and renewable energy team.
