A TEDDY bears’ picnic took place at Chester-based commercial energy consultants in a bid to raise funds for Children in Need.
Employees from the energy efficient company, Power Solutions, joined together for a special lunch as part of their fundrasing efforts for Children in Need.
Picnic treats were supplied by staff across the business, from sheppard’s pie to cheese and biscuits. Power Solution’s Managing Director, Jeremy Taylor provided two home cooked chillies, one mild and one spicy while the Finance Team’s Natasha Orpel and Irene Hulse baked cakes for dessert.
Accounts Assistant, Natasha says: “We all had great fun during the Power Solutions’ Teddy Bears’ Picnic and it was all in aid of a great cause.
“Everyone particularly loved Jeremy’s chilli - however it was debatable if the mild portion was in fact mild, as it nearly blew my head off!”
Staff were also required to invite a stuffed animal of their choice to the Power Solutions’ Teddy Bears’ Picnic to compete in the ‘Best Bear’ competition.
The picnic raised £184 which will be added to the final total after further fundrasing efforts on Friday 18 November.
