Locally based Manor House Stables have gifted Marine Boy to Chester FC Racing Club. The five year old gelding will race in Chester FCs own silks and it is hoped he will compete at the prestigious Chester May Festival.

This will give supporters their chance to become a race horse “owner”, with just 50 memberships available at £50 per month for 6 months. Members will have the chance to visit the spectacular Manor House Stables training facility,
owners badges will be available each time the horse runs and prize money can be donated to Chester FC if agreed by members.

Further to this Manor House have agreed to donate 2 badges to its own private box on the finishing line at Chester Racecourse.

Steve Ashton Chester FC CEO said ”This is a fantastic and affordable opportunity for supporters to become involved in horse racing, whilst at the same time being able to support Chester FC through the potential prize money Marine Boy could win and other surpluses from the racing club.”

Tom Dascombe, trainer at Manor House Stables said “We are very excited to be able to support Chester FC through the gifting of a top quality horse. We hope Marine Boy will have a number of entries over the flat season presenting
members with the chance to see their horse in action in the blue and white stripes of Chester, with the potential of winning money for the club”.

We would like to thank Andrew Black, co-owner of Manor House Stables for his agreement to lease Marine Boy to Chester FC.

Please contact Mike Foster via tel: 01829 771781 or 07515 772696, or email, to register your interest and take up this exciting opportunity. Members will be taken on a first come first served basis.
