The Jets have featured heavily in the BBL team of the week throughout the season so it comes as no surprise to have Jets Murray and Schneck included in what is being described as the biggest and most powerful BBL Team of the week to date.
The BBL crowned Gareth Murrays performance best display of the weekend as the forward conjured up a magical performance valuation of 41 thanks to some epic three-point shooting. Murray was an eye popping 8 of 9 from downtown on his way to 32 points while he also completed a sparkling double-double by claiming 14 rebounds. In one of the best lines of any player this season, he also added to his good work with 5 assists and 3 steals.
Also included in the formidable line up is Matt Schneck. Most Jets fans will know
that Sunday’s televised game saw the return of the Jets talisman to the court after his three month suspension. Matt definitely did not disappoint, making a big impression and making up for lost time when he finally returned to action with an excellent performance against Guildford Heat to help his team wrap up a weekend win double on the road. The centre finished with 25 points and 8 rebounds.
