Staff at Chester based Hargreaves & Woods took a break from accountancy and tax advice at the weekend, to focus on a rather different topic- raising funds for local charities at the Chester Beer Festival.
The festival was organised by the Chester Grosvenor 76 Round Table in partnership with the Saughall Rotary club and was held at Chester RUFC. Attendees were able to taste a range of beers and enjoyed live entertainment. James Hargreaves from the firm said: “We’ve been involved as sponsors of the beer festival for a number of years now. It’s a great opportunity to network, engage with clients socially and most importantly, to support some very worthwhile charities in our area. I would urge people to get involved for next year”.
Andrew Woods, second partner at the Chester firm adds: “The festival was a chance for all the staff to get together after what has been a very busy time at the office. We have an excellent team who are extremely dedicated and hard working, so it was good to see everyone taking a well deserved break, all in a good cause of course!”
