CHESTER law firm Aaron & Partners has bolstered its commercial team by hiring one of the UK’s leading partnership law specialists.

Mark Briegal has carved a niche for himself advising clients on all aspects of business partnerships – from setting up a partnership to retirements, expulsions, dissolutions and disputes

He works with a wide range of clients including solicitors, accountants, doctors, dentists, architects and other trading partnerships.

Mark advises on Limited Liability Partnerships (LLPs) and has converted many partnerships to LLPs during his career. He also has experience of mergers and acquisitions in the professional partnership sector.

The 50-year-old, of Stockton Heath near Warrington, joins Aaron & Partners as a partner in the corporate commercial team.

He began his career as a city trader with Chase Manhattan Bank and went on to run his own training and consultancy business for more than a decade, before deciding on a career change and studying at the College of Law in Chester.

Before joining Aaron’s Mark was a partner in the corporate department of Manchester law firm Ralli, where he launched a specialist partnership law team.
Mark, who set up and now chairs the North West branch of the Association of Partnership Practitioners, said: “I’m tremendously excited to be joining Aaron & Partners, which is a growing commercial law firm with an excellent reputation throughout the region.

“I look forward to playing my part in shaping the future direction of the firm’s commercial offering.”

Aaron & Partners chief executive Andy Duxbury said: “Mark is a leading light in the field of partnership law, and his arrival will further strengthen our offering to clients.

“He brings with him a wealth of expertise in a highly specialised field. We are thrilled to welcome him aboard.”

Aaron & Partners, Cheshire’s largest commercial law firm, is headquartered on Foregate Street in Chester and employs 100 people in total.

In addition to its full-service commercial offering, it also runs thriving matrimonial, wills, trusts and tax departments.
