A CHESTER law firm has appointed a residential conveyancing expert to develop a tailored service to clients.

Aaron & Partners, based on Foregate Street, has recruited Dan Stear as an associate solicitor to build up its residential conveyancing department.

The firm plans to provide a bespoke service to clients and is confident there is demand for such niche provision, even at a time when the housing market is subdued.

Dan, 32, previously an associate solicitor at Kirwans Solicitors in Liverpool, said: “I am excited to be joining a firm with such a reputation for excellence and exceptional client service, and am looking forward to the challenge of developing its residential conveyancing service.

“Although the housing market is treading water, we believe there is an opportunity to provide a service tailored around the individual needs of our clients.

“There has been continued sales activity in the higher end of the market, with properties over the £500,000 mark helping to keep things moving, and we offer a personal service to our clients to ensure that transactions are as swift and stress-free as possible.

“Plans include providing regular updates about how the sale is proceeding and being responsive to clients’ queries or problems outside of office hours.”
Aaron & Partners believes that opportunities exist for this type of bespoke, dedicated service in a market dominated by process-driven offerings that lack the personal touch.

Dan, of Tattenhall, near Chester, has worked with property developers and individual clients across the country, regularly acting for clients buying and selling high value properties over £1m.

Aaron & Partners has also recruited wills, trusts and tax specialist Gill Knowles as assistant solicitor.

Gill, 41, of Waverton, was previously an associate solicitor at Steggles Solicitors in Chester and specialises in estate administration, wills and trusts including personal injury trusts, powers of attorney and care home fees advice.
Aaron & Partners chief executive Andy Duxbury said he was delighted to welcome the pair to the firm’s growing team of experts.

“Dan and Gill are immensely experienced in their specialist fields and also bring with them an impressive number of contacts they have built over the years. I’ve no doubt they will be an asset to Aaron & Partners as we continue to prosper, despite the economic downturn.”

Aaron & Partners, Cheshire’s largest commercial law firm, employs 100 people in total.

In addition to its full-service commercial offering, it also runs thriving matrimonial, wills, trusts and tax departments.
