Doubletree by Hilton Chester has won Cheshire Hotel of the Year, after being shortlisted in the Cheshire Life Food and Drink Awards, seeing off competition from the area's top hotels.

Cheshire boasts a handful of the North West’s top hospitality spots, and the competition was tough as ever at this year’s awards.

The Cheshire Life Food and Drink Awards celebrate and reward the very highest standards of hospitality and purveyors of the finest quality food and drink in the region. The black-tie gala dinner took place at the historic Midland Hotel, Manchester, on October 26.

Tony Wright General Manager of Doubletree by Hilton Chester says: “It was a real honour to be nominated in this category, and I am so thrilled to have all of our hard work recognised. The Award confirms everything that we strive for at Doubletree.”

The Doubletree by Hilton Chester provides a unique blend of past and present with a modern and splendid contemporary style. The hotel's outstanding facilities feature a Grade II English Heritage listed conservatory, stunning grounds and gardens, a luxury spa and the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar and Grill.
