Bath Road Tree Planting
Two new trees are to be planted in the Bath Road in Cheltenham in the second phase of the project ‘Connect my Street’.
For the fourth year running, the Cabinet of Cheltenham Borough Council has made a proposal to freeze its share of Council Tax and car parking charges.
There will be slight changes to the usual refuse and recycling collection schedule over the Christmas period.
Following the recent success of urban meadow planting in Over Causeway and Eastern Avenue in Gloucester, there is to be a similar trial in some of the busiest roads and roundabouts in Cheltenham.
New finger-post signage and simple maps will soon be helping people to find destinations in Cheltenham Town Centre. As well as showing pedestrian routes, the new ‘wayfinding’ project will also highlight bus and major cycle routes.
