Booked for a wake for 60+ people, Dave was a dream in getting things organized and Jess, Freya and Chef Simon were fantastic on the day, lovely food and service, took care of everything so we could focus on the day, had an afternoon tea themed menu and it was delicious! Fair price, and good quality all round, would highly recommend!

Fabulous! We hired them for a retirement party. Freya listened carefully to the brief and made great suggestions for our catering. Our guests were very complimentary about the food and we were delighted with the ease with which this was delivered. We would give them an unequivocal recommendation.

We planned our wedding way back in 2021 and contacted Plenty of Thyme on recommendation of the owners of Little Tey Barn at the time. Dave came to see us at home and went through all the options and menu suggestions. Unfortunately since our wedding fell in the middle of Covid we decided to postpone. Dave and his team were so incredibly helpful and we managed to secure them for our new date in September 2023.
The company maintained contact with us and despite a number of changes to the guest list along with the accompanying changes to food preferences and allergies etc and a change of venue, they were so helpful.
Prior to our wedding we were invited to the Plenty of Thyme office to try out the food we had chosen so we knew that what we were getting was great quality. Dave had already visited the venue to check out facilities and discuss arrangements with the team there.
When our day finally arrived The staff from Plenty of Thyme had done an amazing job setting out the tables perfectly. When we arrived back from the church the team were on hand, pouring bubbly and handing out some wonderful hors d'oeuvres. Once our guests were seated Freya managed an amazing service team that were so attentive. The food was brought out in perfect time and was absolutely amazing, beautifully cooked, well presented and good portions.
For the evening Dave and Freya fired up their mobile wood fired pizza oven and served up fresh hot pizza to our guests.
I would thoroughly recommend Plenty of Thyme to anyone planning an event, particularly weddings. We've had so many great comments from our guests about the food, I really can't thank Dave, Freya and their team enough for what they did to help make our special day run so smoothly.

Dave, Nadia, Jodie and the wider Plenty of Thyme team did an amazing job catering at our wedding on Saturday. Honestly, I haven't yet been able to put into words how incredible everything was, but what I can say with absolute certainty is that it was so fantastic because of the hard work and preparation they put into the planning and delivery from the very moment we first reached out to Plenty of Thyme over 18 months ago.
The food is exceptional, the service was second to none, and their attention to detail is unrivalled. We have had so many people came up to us - and have messaged us since Saturday - to say how incredible the food was. It blew us away, from the first canapes during the drinks reception to the final slice of pizza at the end of the night, everything was delicious. The team have an enthusiasm and passion for what they are doing which is infectious, and I will be forever grateful that we chose Plenty of Thyme as our wedding caterer.

Jodie and the team were brilliant throughout the process - from meeting our requests following the food trial, to the many last minute changes in the lead up to the wedding. I’ve been to many weddings where the food is delayed and cold by the time it gets to you but the food was warm, delicious and prompt. Thank you again! Great value!

Our experience with Plenty of Thyme was great from start to finish. Jodie was quick to answer emails and worked with us to put together our dream menu. My partner and I appreciated being able to taste the food before our big day as it meant we could have confidence it was going to be delicious! From the minute we had a call with Dave, and he told us he could make a 'mean haggis bon bon' (for this Scottish bride) we knew we wanted to book Plenty of Thyme!
Dave took away our ideas and requests and turned them in to a menu which sounded truly mouthwatering - exactly the kind of food we like to eat.
This was proven when we spent a dreary January evening, tasting the food and chatting through our day to Jess - who is also an absolute dream to deal with. We were blown away and spent the next 8 months looking forward to eating it again on our wedding day!
In the run up, no question of mine was too silly for Nadia - who would always reply to me promptly.

Plenty of Thyme catered our wedding in June at Captains Wood Barn in Great Totham, and they were excellent from start to finish. They provided canapes, a two course wedding breakfast and pizzas in the evening, and everything was delicious. I lost count of the number of guests who complimented me on the food.
Everything in the run up to the day was great, from the tasting to general enquiries. They catered for all allergies really well, and went above and beyond to assist with things we hadn't asked them to do, like cutting up the wedding cake, serving reception drinks and providing water to the tables.
They were honestly incredible and worth every single penny (and more!) Thank you POT! xx

We enjoyed a great tasting session with Plenty of Thyme and were really impressed with the food - but had no idea how the taste and quality of presentation would be able to scale for our 100 wedding guests...well, we were blown away on the day. The food was absolutely delicious and as beautifully presented as when Dave was only cooking for two of us! All our guests went out of their way to comment on how good the food was too. PoT were also really quick to respond to queries and helpful with tweaking the menu to our tastes. Would highly highly recommend. Couldn't have been better.

Plenty of Thyme catered our wedding back in March. We had a 3 course wedding breakfast by day and pizza ovens by night. Not only did it all look amazing, it tasted great and was served so professionally from start to finish.
We had rave reviews about the pizzas in the evg and were so glad everyone had full tummy’s!
Jodie and Dave were a pleasure to deal with leading up to the wedding, and were happy to answer the million questions I had about the food on the day! They were a big part in making our day so special….thank you thank you thank you!

If we could rate more than 5 stars we definitely would! We have used Plenty of Thyme for a private meal at home, pizzas and more importantly after 2 Covid postponements we finally had the wedding day of our dreams thanks to Dave, Jodie and the team. Amazing food, which was complimented on by every one of our guests. Dave was so accommodating on every aspect of our long awaited day from start to finish, thank you Dave ! Highly highly recommend.

A fantastic service start to finish. We booked short notice after a covid interrupted wedding and the team could not do more for us, planning, ideas and execution very straight forward, honest and well priced. So many compliments received from guests on quality of food and friendliness of waiting staff. They helped in every detail, keeping the party going with serving drinks and clearing glasses, topping ppl up and mopping up spillages! Could t recommend more highly. Thank you again.

Dave, Jodie and their team did an amazing job for our wedding. Our plans evolved over the course of the year it took to plan the big day, and Dave & Jodie were great at helping us make our ideas happen - which included a cheese stack and cocktail bartender. The food was delicious - making it difficult to choose from the options we tasted! They catered well for the special dietary requirements of our guests. On the day, their service was very high standard, for both the sit-down meal and the more casual evening food. We couldn't be more grateful for the part they played in making our wedding as fantastic as it was.

Plenty of Thyme catered for my wedding back in May. I love that they have so many different options. BBQ, Street food, 3 course, canape etc. We had a BBQ for our wedding breakfast. The food was amazing! They catered so well for vegetarians and pescatarians. The staff were lovely. Everything was seamless. Thank you so much!

PoT were so accommodating, fulfilling our every request, the quality and taste of the food was amazing and there was so much of it, none of our guests went hungry!
Every member of the PoT team worked hard serving the food, managing our bar and helping take care of the little touches (lighting candles etc) but special shout-out to Jodie who has been incredible - a large part of the success of our day is down to her superhuman efforts, she was so helpful (and patient) in the build-up to the wedding and was a force of nature on the day, ensuring everything ran like clockwork!
I can’t recommend Plenty of Thyme highly enough and won’t hesitate to use them again the next time we need some catering, thank you all for making our wedding weekend so special!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Dave & Jodie and their entire team made our wedding !! They was the core of the wedding and we wouldn’t of had one without them , they supplied our breakfast the morning of the wedding for the bridal party to enjoy , catered for the entire wedding day , the canapés , sit down meal and bbq for the evening evening was all outstanding , and even came back the following day to cook us all breakfast which was much needed with sore heads but allowed us to reminisce the wedding day with our guests, We couldn’t fault anything the guests all loved the food , the plates where empty everywhere we looked so that says it’s all ! We had so many compliments on how good the food was and it really was! The food was the talking point but there also was so much more they did for us I couldn’t fault a single thing and would recommend them over and over again ! Thank you so much for making our wedding , you guys are the best!!
