Dave, Jodie, Jess and the team at plenty of thyme made our wedding day perfect!
Not only did they work with us along with the ever changing plans due to covid, they took control of the day allowing us to relax and enjoy the moment.
The food was sensational, enjoyed by every single guest. Our menu was the talk of the evening and so many complements paid. Dave was brilliant at adapting the menu for all the food allergies and dislikes making each guest feel comfortable and cared for.
Highly recommended and can’t wait to use them at future events.

We hired Plenty of Thyme for our wedding at my family home in the beginning of April.
From the start Dave was so attentive and helpful and the tasting was amazing. We left so excited for the big day knowing all our guests would enjoy their meals!
Dave was great at accommodating allergies and children, all were so grateful on the day for all the efforts made to make sure they have beautiful food too.
Guests commented afterwards that they’d never been to a wedding with such good food; with ample canapés and a generous main. They were certainly all pleased with their sticking toffee pudding for dessert!
In the evening we had pizzas and what a hit they were! So delicious!
As well as the food the service from Jodie and the team were A star! Jodie was there the day before the wedding to start setting up and we ran through the day. Jodie made me feel at ease and made sure all went to plan as we desired. A massive thank you to her.
We are SO pleased we chose Plenty of Thyme, they were professional, fabulous and left a wonderful impression on all our guests. They’ve all commented since how fantastic the catering was!

We recently hired Plenty of Thyme to cater for our wedding day. Dave was extremely helpful in answering the millions of questions I asked him and was very helpful when it came to altering our menu choices and ordering the hiring of table linen and glassware.
The food was absolutely delicious and went down very well with our guests. Jodie and the staff were absolutely lovely, very polite and organised and were very accommodating when I asked to put some food aside for my dad.

Wow! Plenty of Thyme provided the food for our wedding and honestly I cant begin to describe how delicious it was! We had a selection of canapes, followed by a two course wedding breakfast and everything was just incredible from start to finish. I've even had guests tell me that they've had dreams about the sticky toffee pudding and dauphinoise potatoes! Dave and his team in the kitchen provided flawless food whilst Jodie and the rest of the waiting staff were professional and efficient. Nothing is too much trouble for these guys and Jodie's on the day management skills were invaluable. Thank you so much for being a big part of the reason why our wedding was the best day ever! Highly recommend using Plenty of Thyme! They catered our wedding at the start of October. But we started planning the food with them during lockdown, even then they were very responsive, very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Dave and Jodie really helped us with all aspects of the day and took the pressure of us. The food was incredible too! People still rave to us now about how good the food was at our wedding. Dave, Jodie and the team on the day were very professional and did everything they could to make the day run smoothly. Jodie even helped Charlotte with her dress before she began the walk down the aisle. Will be recommending to anyone looking for catering at their events

I can not recommend highly enough, the whole team helped to coordinate our Wedding weekend perfectly. The food was delicious, from Canape's and a wedding breakfast exactly curated to our requests all the way through to the Sunday pizza oven, smoothies and bloody Mary's. Almost more importantly they handled everything so effortlessly and never let me feel any stress- Special shout out to Jodie who kept me calm and smiling all weekend. They coordinated seamlessly with our other suppliers and made the day what it was, all while navigating the uncertainty of the pandemic. Thanks again to all the team! Plenty of Thyme catered for my daughter's wedding at our home and were fantastic. We had Jodie as our event manager and I am so glad that we chose this extra service. her organisation and attention to detail allowed us to relax and enjoy the day to the full, knowing she had everything covered.

What an amazing team! Dave was so responsive from day one and really put our minds at ease, especially after having to rearrange our wedding due to Covid. We love to travel and wanted something a bit different for our wedding main. Dave created the most amazing bespoke dish and our guests still to this day mention how good the food was when we see them! Jodie was absolutely fantastic on the day coordinating everything, and nothing was ever too much trouble. You made our day so perfect. Thank you so much Dave, Jodie and the team!!

Plenty of Thyme are absolutely fantastic and we highly recommend them to anyone looking for catering that is personal, high quality and easy to manage. We worked with Dave to create a bespoke menu for our Wedding day and between us collaborated on dishes that worked for everyone with expert input from the team (by the way they also came in at a very reasonable price for the incredible quality and variety!). The food is all locally sourced, fresh and seasonal and we had nothing but outstanding comments from our guests. In addition, Jodie and the front of house team were incredibly professional, slick and helpful on the day setting up the tables, serving the drinks whilst also making time to check we were having a good time and wishing us well! We also asked for POT to cater for a small BBQ the following day at our home which was just fantastic. We had a selection of 3 hot and 3 cold dishes, laid out beautifully on dressed tables with signs for each dish. The team couldn't do enough to clear up and wouldn't let us lift a finger! To top it off they also made a 3 tier naked cake which was AMAZING! The team also helped take the cake from venue to bbq the following day so we could finish it off - just brilliant. Dave & Team, we will be back for more!

Covid has not been the kindest to any of us, we can all agree on that. Our wedding was postponed and we lost our original caterer. Little did I know it was a blessing as Plenty Of Thyme did such an amazing job that our guests are still telling us how great the food was from our wedding day.
We are simply blown away and fortunate to be able to change caterer with short notice and lucked out that they had our date available and the help along the way Dave and the team offered was nothing short of first class.
I can tell from the menus and food choices offered they could cater to our needs. Bespoke tailoring the menus to our choices was something I was very impressed with and we could tell that there is a big passion in what Dave and the team put into everything they do from the initial contact, to the tasting and then the event itself.
We both grew up working in Hospitality so it was important for us to get right caterer for our wedding and I cannot recommend Plenty Of Thyme enough.
I will be sure to use them again if we are to have an event or party and I am sure many of our friends and families will be in touch also.
The staff were extremely efficient and friendly and really went above and beyond to help us have the perfect day!

Plenty of Thyme catered our wedding and they were absolutely fantastic! Dave put lots of personalised touches to our menu, even making a big bowl of jelly to keep up a family tradition. Jodie was super responsive to emails and messages and went above and beyond to help us understand the Covid risk assessment. The food was fantastic and got lots of compliments, but mostly it was lovely to have such supportive and friendly caterers for our big day - it made planning so much easier.

We ordered 3+1child afternoon teas for the kids’ half term. The quality was excellent and the packaging beautiful.
The portions are very generous and we have more for later. The kids are super thrilled!

I organised an afternoon tea for 4 adults and 2 children be delivered for my Mums birthday - it was lovely 😊! Everything was so fresh and the the portions were very generous - even had leftovers for the evening. Thank you Plenty of Thyme for a delicious lunch for 15 people delivered home on Saturday to celebrate a very special family 80th birthday. We chose a selection of lamb and apricot tagine, lemon and herb chicken legs accompanied with cous cous, roasted vegetable salad, rocket with parmesan, crusty bread and butter and potatoes. Dessert was mini lemon syllabub and chocolate brownies. The portions were very generous and the added fact that all the cutlery, crockery and napkins were provided made our lives much easier (especially as everything was returned to be washed by them). Communication was fast, efficient and friendly. We will certainly be using this service again and will not hesitate to recommend to others.
