Any small family business that can service since 1919 is totally remarkable. Bird & Yates offer impeccable service and excellent workmanship. Even when I was living in London I still took my car to Bird & Yates because they give every customer that personal attention and that's why they have survived so many years.

Left it very late to have our car serviced for Easter break. Inevitably a problem arose with rear brakes. I was called early afternoon to say it needed parts ordering which would not arrive until last delivery. I needed the car for that evening to pick up the caravan for the holiday the next day. Turned up to collect car at 5pm just as parts were being delivered - I panicked - no need - I was assured car would be done. They loaned me a car to go home in and told me they would deliver car when ready. It was delivered back at 7.30pm. All done for the original price quoted. A brilliant all round service which I feel went above and beyond the call. Thanks to everyone involved in delivering such an excellent service.
I’ve been a customer of Bird & Yates for many years and I can honestly say they are the best. The whole team go out of their way to be friendly and make sure the work is carried out to the highest standards at the lowest cost. The thing that impresses me most though is that you can trust them to be honest with you, what a refreshing change that is these days. It’s such a shame that more businesses aren’t run like Bird & Yates. Bob C
Fantastic service from Andy & his team. My car failed it's MOT and they went all out to get it sorted and on the road - which they managed! First class old fashioned service - as it should be - but rarely happens these days... I'll be back!

Called on the phone today re clutch change. Was called back with a price - and suggested a pop in for them to have a look. I did that.... and one of the guys came out and had a chat with me - then test drove my car - before suggesting that although there is signs of wear... a clutch change (and £570 bill) might bot be necessary just yet. Can't think many garages would do that! So, not spent a bean yet with them - but will be back for the next routine services on the cars... and the clutch when it needs doing. Thanks!

I was recommended this garage by Steve Mallows at The Best of Cannock. The guys were friendly and efficient. They arranged a loan car - the cost was half that quoted by the previous garage I have used. In addition my squeaky clutch no longer squeaks! Not sure what you did but great job.
