At the end of a walk or maybe even part way through, a well earned pint is often on the agenda.

Next time you're trekking Birtle or Cheesden way there's no reason not to take a break at Walmersley Golf Club.
With a main walking route running adjacent to the top of the course and nowhere else for miles, you're guaranteed a warm welcome here.

Om a sunny day you can enjoy drinks on the balcony overlooking the fabulously kept course and views across the north west.
Should the weather not be quite in your favour, there's plenty of room indoors in the clubhouse where you can enjoy a coffee or a drink from the bar to keep you going for the onward trip.

There's also a lovely bar menu which caters for all of your meals from breakfast onwards, and who doesn't enjoy a good old bacon
sarnie? Apart from this there's a selection of light lunches and more to enjoy alongside a great selection from the bar.
Stewards Sheila and Geoff will ensure that you're looked after and you won't feel like a stranger, even if you're not a golfer.

Why not give it a try next time you're passing - you're more than welcome anytime.
