The Made in Bury Business Awards (MIBBAs) are now in their 6th year and are sponsored by thebestofbury, Bury Council and Tower FM alongside a host of other fantastic local businesses.
The MIBBAs are all about celebrating the achievements of our local Bury businesses, and their input into making this place a fantastic place to both live and work. We can’t wait to see the range of talented businesses and business individuals who will be entering this year.
Any Bury business can self nominate. If you have a business in mind who you think would be worthy of an award then you are welcome to nominate them simply by visiting the entry page on the website. With 20 categories you are sure to find the perfect one for your business.
The Made In Bury judging panel is made up of a wonderful selection of high-profile local businessmen and women, with years of experience in their industries and a deep-rooted community spirit.
Entry into the awards is completely free of charge, no matter the size of your business or what sector you operate in. Even better, your business can be entered into as many categories as you wish.
The deadline date for entries this year is July 8th, after which all entries will be whittled down to a shortlist of just 6 per category by the judges.
These select businesses will be invited to a “meet and greet” with the judges on October 5th, at the Stables Country Club. At the meet and greet, shortlisted businesses will be asked to give a 5-minute presentation followed by a 5-minute Q&A session with the judges, from this the three finalists per category will be decided.
Each finalist will receive a free ticket to the glamorous black-tie ball on the 22nd November. The event, which is held at The Longfield Suite in Prestwich is a wonderful night, and a celebration of our boroughs diverse and strong business community.
