This year Belvoir Lettings, Bury will be a drop off point for Bury Town Centre for "Mission Christmas" run in association with the RRG Group & Key 103.
"Mission Christmas" is the cash for kids charity that collects extra toys and gives them out to the under privileged children in Bury and across Greater Manchester.
How does it work?
Mission Christmas asks you to buy just one extra toy this year so that the many children that often go without do actually receive gifts this Christmas. Statistics show that 1 in 3 children in Greater Manchester may not got anything this year. That's around 150,000 children. Isn't that shocking?
Once you have purchased your gift - a toy or a board game, drop it (unwrapped) to the Belvoir Bury office at 120, The Rock, Bury, BL9 0PJ (Facing the very well known Tompsons Chippy).
Place it under the Christmas tree and on the 12th of December all of the toys donated will be collected and then delivered to the children that may otherwise not got anything this year.
You can also drop off at RRG Kia, Bolton Rd, Bury or RRG Nissan and Toyota, Bolton St. Bury where you can enjoy a nice hot drink and a mince pie for your troubles.
We're looking for new and unwrapped gifts suitable for babies, toddlers, children and teenagers aged 0 to 18 years
Please consider just one extra gift this Christmas to make it one to remember for every child! Still not convinced? Put yourself and your child in that situation. Just imagine not being able to get your children a gift this Christmas or the look on their faces. It's often down to a change in personal circumstances. Let's make it happen and support the RRG / Key 103 Mission Christmas and make it a good one for all!
