rooms are great, beds are comfy but selection of breakfast if you are vegetarian is poor, paid £7.50 and all i had was some water, was so excited to eat breakfast to end my stay and was heavily disappointed

Lovely big bed. Room was very clean and comfortable. Slept very well until woken by other rooms doors slamming. All the staff encountered were great. Very helpful and professional.
Only one set of towels in the room despite it being booked for two. Didn’t realise until the morning so couldn’t get more. Door closure mechanism slams doors shut so latecomers and those departing early disturb others. I was woken by a door slamming about 0615. Whoever designs the rooms clearly never spends any time in them to check how practical they are. The room mirror is not close enough to electric sockets. Nowhere in shower to put your own products other than the floor. The fan has no controls, it’s either on full blast or not at all. Poor breakfast (again). Juice container was nearly empty so very watery due to the ice. The toast isn’t really toasted it’s just lightly coloured and thin bread. The bacon was hard and no fried (or poached) eggs available, just scrambled (not for me) which, along with the other hot food available is kept warm in stainless steel containers. We were asked to wait for the ‘chef’ to serve us which was fine but chef? He serves the food from the containers and “toasts” the bread!!!! Nice chap though - very pleasant as are all the staff we spoke to. What we had for breakfast wasn’t really worth the money so we will think twice next time.

Decent stay needs better air con in hot weather or windows can be fully opened
The room was really hot the air con in the room didn’t help and I couldn’t sleep properly. Did speak to staff and they said it is the same in al the room. Staff were lovely regardless of this

The hotel looks lovely from the front and the entrance, bar and dining room are really nice and modern. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful!
The bathroom and carpet in my room looked quite dated. The floor lamp in my room had been broken and poorly repaired.

The staff here are awesome. But the food is terrible. A half decent vet would bring the bacon back to life and the prices are bad aswell. Stay here but eat next door 👍

Good hotel but some rooms do not have airconditioning and can be uncomfortably hot.
Nice big room, good telly, great breakfast, comfortable bed, and the room was clean. There is a bath/shower in a good standard of bathroom.
There was no air conditioning and there are safety restrictions on the window so they only open a crack. When the sun shines through the window for much of the day the room becomes uncomfortably hot. The hotel's TV presented information says that the rooms have air conditioning but our room, and adjacent rooms, did not.

Wedding
Everything ran smoothly. I was bridesmaid at a wedding this weekend and honestly can say the staff were amazing!!!! Nothing was too much trouble and they worked their butts off for hours on end. There was only a handful of staff working the event but they did amazingly. There was a young girl, possibly the organiser abs I’m sorry to say I didn’t get get name, she wore a skirt suit in the day. But this girl was a god send she helped out with the brides child and was literally running around from what I saw 11am till 1am!!!! The day was lovely and this was definitely made possible by all the staff there.

Friendly staff, nice big TV nice bathroom
Breakfast was not very nice, scrambled eggs not nice, beans tasted tainted, had extra toast as only eat bacon and a sausage. Room had a power outage about 2am so no electric did until after breakfast but did not inconvenience us too much. So in conclusion, improve the breakfast and offer fried/poached eggs!
