The hotel is in a good location and is modern and pleasant enough inside.
The beds were comfy but like most hotel beds, a little bit on the firm side. My main gripe with the room was the noise. I kept thinking the windows were open as I could hear so much. We stayed on a Saturday night and I was woken up at 1.40am by a coach load of people arriving at the hotel.
Breakfast was pretty poor. The coffee is watery and flavourless. The cooked breakfast is just OK. It's a help yourself situation with no hash browns, tomatoes or mushrooms. However, it was cheaper than most hotel breakfasts and you could keep helping yourself to as much as you like.
Another thing I wasn't keen on was the massive screen in the breakfast room playing the news. But that's just personal preference.
We didn't use the pool so I can't comment on that.

Exceptional Good bar, restaurant and coffee place all in the hotel. There lighting in the room was very poor. Could do with some sort of light over the mirror for the ladies to put on makeup and do their hair. Bathroom mirror steams up so thats no good. .

Overall, helpful and friendly staff made up for any shortcomings of catering. Our dinner function was facilitated and supported in a very professional way by all supervisory, waitering and bar staff. Quality of food served was passable at best. It isn't likely that I'd rely on in-house meals if I stay again

Went to collect a number for the Bury 10k race. Car park signs are confusing outside with no cost indication outside or details of the 4 hour free parking period.

What I would call a no frills, cheap and cheerful stay although it wasn’t very cheap - comfortable room good shower adequate food friendly staff but all quite basic no extras - did not use the sports facilities but the pool did look nice and there was adequate conference facilities which is why I visited - plenty of parking

I would always recommend village hotels. They have everything you need under one roof. Room is always nice and clean, beds are comfy. Food is great and they have really good deals on that are well worth the money. We used the £109 for 2 people , bed and breakfast with £50 back to you to spend on food and the pub and grill! Great deal.

A great hotel offering a range of services just off the m66. I attended today for a training session and the interactions I had with staff were positive and e welcoming. All the services available were great quality and care evidently taken regarding presentation. An accessible building with many different uses and services available.

What can I say about the team at the Village Bury? I don’t even know how to put it into words!!!

In 05.22.22 I married the love of my life here, and I know I couldn’t have done it without their help!

On the day I dealt with some lovely team members, namely Ryan, Beth, Megan, and Will! They ensured that that day went exactly as planned. I never had an empty drink, the service, the reception, the drinks, the FOOD! What an incredible day helped along by an incredible team!

I have a very special mention for Jess, our wedding organiser. Jess has been with us since the day we booked the wedding until the big day! She has helped us plan the perfect day, helped make changes, and been at the end of the phone for any silly questions we asked! She is a dream come true!!!!!!

Honestly, none of this would have been possible without this team, and especially Jess! Thank you so so much!

Love Mrs and Mrs Lynch!

Overall good experience at this hotel. No concerns and good enough customer service. Was a little disappointed that I was charged at the gym/swimming area for use of extra towel when I was already a paying guest at hotel.

Happy to book again but would call ahead and ask for heating to be put on for us. Excellent Location just off the motorway and for where we needed to be. Unfortunately the room when entering was absolutely freezing which is not ideal. I totally get that things are tough with high electric bills but even if the heater was on low and we could put it up when we got in that would be better! No issues with the room which was big and done the job, just the freezing cold room on arrival!
