We stayed just 1 night and the hotel was in the right place. Nice breakfast. We had reserved a room in advance and the hotel was flexible about us checking in late. The location was good for us. The breakfast was very nice. There was a problem with the cystern in our bathroom, we reported it on checkout.

Very good I upgraded to a club room which was very nice good size, shower also very good and a huge TV. The burger from room service was quite nice. Considering the quality of the room it missed a few small touches. There were no biscuits and no decaf options on the tea tray. The website mentioned sky TV in every room but I couldn't find it. There was 24hr reception using an app which I thought was not good at all. Didn't get any reply in over an hour to my question.

The beautiful shower leaked over the marble foot tray, causing dangerous flooding leading me to use the only towels to mop up the pools of water, I didn't have time to complain as I was there to attend a wedding reception and was already running a little late.

Live only 25mins away. Next time will go directly home. Room spacious enough for our quick overnight. Breakfast was edible and varied. Bed was comfortable. The location. The swimming pool. The long trek from ground level lift to reception and too many steps from ground level to reception, even though impressive. Should have brought the wheelchair. Screaming kids in breakfast bar. Road noise from M66. Noisy residents outdoors until 0320hrs. No working lift from reception to all floors. Noisy fan (even Dyson!) in room.

Very good The family room was spacious and comfortable. We was allowed access to the pool which the children loved. The bar is a friendly area to eat and drink. I think it is slightly pricey

Hotel was really good but the bar staff were incredible, Aliyah, Sophia and Sophie at the bar area were superb and so welcoming, they really made the stay so warm and welcoming! I would highly recommend staying here just on the fact how well your treated by the bar staff!

The whole experience which was expertly facilitated by Bec was excellent from start to finish. She was extremely helpful and professional in organising everything for us and we continue to enjoy working at the Village daily.

We stayed here as part of a wedding party, the wedding being elsewhere. It was a budget type hotel but the rooms were clean and comfortable, the beds were comfortable including pillows which I always find a problem - they were great! The shower was good and the included breakfast was fine except for the scrambled eggs which were very very watery

Nice tidy clean room. The girl who checked me in was attractive and friendly. Lol. Was very clean which is a big thing for me. Car parking was plentiful but you have to pay for it. The drink and food was good. Nothing I could say against the quality but the price was a little on the expensive side. All in I really enjoyed my stay and would visit again

We Finally Tied the Knot on Saturday 27th after 2 cancelations due to Covid.
First of all I would like to say what and amazing venue this is, all the staff are so friendly and will go above and beyond to help you with absolutely anything!

Our main point of contact for the few months leading up to the wedding was Bec, although she is fairly new to the hotel you would never of known this! she is professional, kind, caring, happy and was Genuinely excited about our Big day! Anyone who is lucky enough to have Bec help them plan their wedding are extremally lucky.

We had Eye catching for our venue dressers, recommended by the hotel and they certainly did not disappoint! we had so many comments on how amazing the room looked!

The wedding Breakfast food was Delicious! normally when you go to a wedding or large function the food isn't always up to scratch.
well not here, it was hot, Tasty, and a very good portion.

Finally I would like to say that all the staff on our day were amazing.
Ryan, Megan and Claire literally couldn't of done anymore for us if they had tried!
everything was just perfect!

Thankyou so much to the Village Hotel and the Amazing team for the most Perfect Day! we will be forever grateful!!

lots of love

Plenty to do in Bury. Location close to Bury town plenty of shops & restaurants. Car parks plenty to choose from as well Found it easy to navigate people on hand to help if needed. Room was very hot only a blind on the window which I found unusual even though they provided a dyson fan it didn’t do the job,& the duvet is for winter & not summer the shower is large & plenty of towels & soaps etc but unfortunately the floor is rotted with trapped water. But overall it’s an alright stay it’s close to our daughter so handy for her to pick us up & drop off,

We stayed here to visit some friends in Bury. Great location and excellent staff.
The room was very clean but in need of refurbishment. The quality of the breakfast was poor in my opinion. There was very little choice and no fresh fruit on offer.
